To be honest erm, I'm not really PRIMARILY hoping to expand my mind from it or see anything truly incredible. It just sounds like a bit of fun to me Kind of like looking up at a rollercoaster, or even seeing a really tasty sweet or chocolate bar at the store. Something that will be fun and nice and I have to check out!
that's pretty much what i did in the late 70 and early 80s. i didn't get into it when it was popular in the late 60s and early 70s, though i supported things like the peace movement and civil rights, because i was living at those times in fairly remote semi-wilderness kinds of places, and not being social enough to come into direct contact with what there was of it there. addiction is a real risk, and many people are damaged by it, but it certainly isn't an inevitable one, and many people try it for a while, then move on, finding other things more interesting and gratifying.
I think it's a "whatever floats your boat" sort of thing. I mean Raja Ram still takes stuff and he's 71 lol And yeah they vary tremendously in terms of addictiveness I believe.
