I remembered the word--I'm sure you've heard it and are maybe even familiar with it, but every time I tried to think of the word, my angels would say "cunnilingus" in my mind. They are quite amusing sometimes, those angels. When I finally thought of the actual word, they just about killed themselves laughing. Anyway the actual word is "kundalini." Which of course begs the question: Which is preferable, cunnilingus or kundalini? Maybe this is the wrong forum for that question...
I've been able to do this since I was a child, laying in bed at night. It feels like I'm flexing some kind of virtual muscle or something - somewhere around my hips... it just makes my entire lower body feel tingles all over. It's important to note this isn't the same "tingling" feeling you get when your legs fall asleep from lack of oxygen. It's much different and not painful. It's very controllable, but "tiresome" to keep going for long periods of more than 5 seconds. I can turn it on and off at will in about 3 second intervals. I find that if I continue to "flex" that feeling, it gets stronger and stronger and my legs start to shake, the feeling quickly becomes so strong that it's not comfortable, and once I stop flexing it, it disperses instantly. This feeling of it becoming too strong is much like eating an entire pixie stick all at once, and your body just shudders because it's in shock of all that sour sugar. It's almost the same kind of experience if I try to go as long as I can, it just gets to the point where the feeling is too strong. Like I said, I used to do this all the time as a child, but I've never thought about it until recently, as I've become interested in telekinesis and other psychic abilities. Almost all the articles online I've read say that you're supposed to channel some kind of energy - I hope this is what I'm feeling. Since experimenting more, I've been able to make my whole body feel this way if I try, but the legs are always easiest and create the strongest feelings. I still have yet to "channel" this feeling in any way, but if anyone has had any similar experiences I'm very interested in hearing about them. This is the first time I've ever read of anyone else being able to do the same thing. Thanks to everyone who has posted.
I get it with "chi". Thats chinese for life force energy. My hands get hot and feel like the palms repel - like magnets. Sex is actually one way most people notice their "life energy" most. There's a million different sensations u can get with life energy , chi , whatever u call it : )
Wow other psis any way the feeling is channeling energy I used to have my hands heat up but that's because your energy system is new and all but the magnet repelling feeling will be left. All is a good sign and now that you can feel and channel energy try to form that energy into a ball and other shapes.
Hey, I've also been able to do this for a long time and also never thought anything about it, but today decided to research and found this site. It also starts in starts the hips for me but covers my whole body and is probally most strongest in my legs followed by the head and also causes my legs to flinch, i cannot seem to hold it for longer 3-5 seconds. Could you post some links of where you researched some info?
i've always felt this, i thought it was normal.. i just call it "the chills" but i guess now that i think about it, it's not like the chills. i feel it when i see or hear something moving or spiritual. last night i watched the news and this dog saved its family from a fire and i felt it. at weddings and stuff like that i feel it. today i was driving down the road and was in awe of all the beautiful colors of the changing leaves and felt it. i actually wasn't aware that there are people that don't feel this! weird!
I get this tingling feeling quite frequently it starts at the bottom of my spine and runs up to the back of my head. As i read over these posts it was happening quite a lot so i decided to see if i could do it on command and realized i could do it by simply closing my eyes and shutting my mind off and the longer i close my eyes the more intense it got and started to shoot down my arms and pulse at this stage im forced to open my eyes and stop it. I've always been quite skeptical when it comes to psychic abilities and so on, my mind is trying to pass it off as something more explainable but i am stumped, this thread has got me thinking a lot. Thanks
I've been looking into this for the last few months, and I've found a few things to consider about this: 1. This feeling is very similar to what we feel when we are emotional (rage, joy, impressed by something etc.) I feel these same feelings when I'm angry, or perhaps after an awesome action movie where I'm feeling confident and excited. 2. Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) Waves have been proven to exist, which are generated from our brain, and can correspond to thought patterns, emotional states, etc. The US researches these under classified programs. Search for Andrija Puharich who has done tons of research in this area. 3. Our nervous system can probably be effected by electromagnetic waves, we could be "feeling" the result of our own bodies "charging" up an unbearable amount of electromagnetic energy. 4. There are documents which deal with the realm of tai-chi, specifically chakra points. This seems to be the closest established link to these physical areas of the body, and correspond to the exact locations we're feeling this "energy" originate from. I'm currently pursuing this route as an attempt to uncover where else in history these feelings have been documented - surely something this incredible and rare has been discovered before. 5. There is a ton of research on electromagnetic resonance in the psychic realm. We could be experiencing something similar to an increase in volume or amplitude of our own ELF waves, which would make it easier for other things to resonate with us. This might be used for telekenesis or whatever else you're trying to accomplish by resonating or interfering with that subject/object's energy. To really understand what is going on here physically, we're going to need a doctor's opinion (removed from any psychic influences) I'm not sure what kind of tests can be run, but surely there are doctors that can detect whether or not this is a natural effect of the nervous system, or if this has nothing to do with the body's current "known" abilities. Just for notes... I earlier reported that I could only create this feeling for 3-5 seconds before the feeling became unbearable. Recently, I've found that I can control the level of the feeling, so that it stays at a reasonable level for an extended period of time. Sort of like instead of mashing down the gas pedal, I'm just pushing it down half way, and trying to keep it there. I'm able to keep it going for much longer now, and it's not unbearable. Thanks for the comments so far, lets keep going until we find an answer. -w
I've been reading the recent posts on this thread, and it finally occurred to me that I used to do something like this when I was a kid. I don't know if this is what you're talking about...I've been trying it again recently, and I can still do it very easily, but have no idea what the hell it is I'm doing. It sort of feels like an adrenaline surge, because of the energetic sensation, but I don't think that's what it is. I do find that doing it over and over for a while tires me out and makes it harder to do. I don't think I'm moving any muscles to accomplish this - I really have no idea how I do it. Very very strange...
you know, I've been able to do this forever just like most people... and I think I just figured out exactly where I have an energy block, just by doing this for a few seconds.
yes, this is exactly what we're describing. I think most of us realized this as kids because it is a natural thing out bodies can do. However, if our social environments do not push us to develop this natural ability, it will naturally not be developed and matured... like a child who never learns to walk and continues to crawl. I'm convinced that most people should be able to do this. The biggest question now is what this "ability" is supposed to be used for. -w
Here are those above links from invertedgothicbunny... http://www.psipog.net/ http://www.psionguild.org/php/index.php I can't seem to find anything on these sites referencing this feeling as a physical manifestation, like we're feeling. They just reference "energy" without a description. Then again, most psychic sites seem to be very general. They are definitely some of the best sites out there for psychic related education though, so check them out if you're interested. The other day I met a mortician (morticians are very familiar with the body) and I asked him about this feeling. He said is sounds very much like an adrenaline (epinephrine) rush, and would be the closest thing to what I described. Today I researched adrenaline, and found that it's characteristics don't match up very well due to a few reasons. The adrenal glands (located above the kidneys) are purely autonomic and sympathetic, meaning they cannot be triggered at will. Your stomach muscles and heart operate on this same system. Secondly, once adrenaline is released, it's not localized - I can create this effect in my right foot for 15 seconds, and never have it enter my left foot. I can even localize it to my toes if i try. In addition, I can turn it on and off in 3 second intervals, that's not a characteristic of adrenaline. -w
I get something similar to that, but I can control it or make it happen at will. Here's a thread I made on it. http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=313794&f=385
I recently described my ability to create this feeling to a girl who claimed to have "restless leg syndrome". My descriptions seemed to match hers exactly, however she could not control her "symptoms". If she sits in one spot too long her legs start to become "restless" much like an adrenaline rush, and she has to get up and run around to get it to go away. Very interesting indeed. It makes me think that most people can create and control these feelings, and that "restless leg syndrome" is just an inability to control the feelings. I also asked a doctor who said that it is possible to control the sympathetic nervous system, and that your mind can be trained to simulate a panic attack, or a calming environment through breathing exercises. So through training your mind, you could simulate adrenaline release to cause this feeling. However, the localization and specific control of the feeling seems to be a little too exact to be simply adrenal related. Still can't find any medical documentation on this, but I think I'm going to do some research on restless leg syndrome since it's the closest medically documented thing I can find. I might post something on webmd or something. -w
I really like the sensation, actually. I remember, a few months ago when I was really into Buddhist meditation, that as I sat outside in a wooden chair, barefoot on sand, and meditated just to open my Root Chakra, I felt this incredible body buzz all over, a lot like smoking a first cigarette in a month. After about 45 minutes, I felt my mind start to leave my body, and had to open my eyes to make sure I was still there. Same thing happened to me, but much quicker, while meditating to open my Solar Plexus Chakra (But after Root, and Sacral) with the help of meditation music I found on youtube. I've yet to try to localize it, and I don't meditate as much because it's the winter, and it feels so much better to meditate outside and barefoot.
You might like to include some research on Hindu yogis, some of whom I seem to remember reading about years ago have been claimed to be able to control their heart and breathing rate.
