Yes but to you people aren't informed because they get their facts right, they are informed because they accept THE CONSPIRACY as their saviour.

There are plenty of people here who don't agree with a damned thing I say, but they know that I get my facts right. When I talk about the Federal Reserve, I am not making it up. I don't use vague and contradictory terms. I can express things in my own words rather than cutting and pasting from crackpot websites. You cannot do any of the above.

You have only proved yourself once again by quoting the Grace commission report, which hypothesises that if we didn't have to pay interest on the national debt, if govt was 100% efficient, and if we could tax burglars, we'd have a smaller debt. What does that have to do with the government owing money to 'The Fed'? Nothing! But that doesn't matter does it? You are repeating what the conspiracy websites told you to think.

Rat you poor soul, your Grace Commission quote doesn't even mention the Federal Reserve.

I've never quite understood why you think that as long as you quote something, anything, you have proved yourself right, even if it has essentially nothing at all to do with the argument you are trying to make.

You don't take people to be THAT stupid, do you?

When they talk about paying the interest on the FEDERAL DEBT, well, who is that interest on the Federal debt being paid to? Mickey Mouse? Gumby? Cinderella?

LOOK, unlike you, I encourage people to do the research themselves. You think that by simply arguing with me and spewing what YOU want people to believe, it's going to cause people to blindly go along with whatever you say. This might hold true with the sheeple, but I guarantee ANYONE that is interested in the truth will do their own research and come to their own conclusions -- not mindlessly believe what you or I tell them to think.

All it takes is a simple Google search and a bit of time.

All I can say to all of you people saying, "why not tax the rich, they have more money then everyone else, they should be paying more, when me the poor person should pay less." is FUCK you, as an example. My father had a good job as a project manager for companies such as Microsoft, IBM, HP. He was making decent money, then 9-11 came around and he was one of the tens of thousands that got laid off. From the time that happened to this day he didn't try to find another job, he started his own company and is now doing VERY well.

But why in god's name should my dad pay MORE taxes just because he decided to work for it. For all of you "poor" people who think they deserve less taxes because you don't have as much money as the "rich" people, maybe you should get off your ass and do something about it, after all, it's something this country was based on.

My father and others that are "rich" should not be taxed more simply because they decided to work for it, and strive for a better life. Personally, I feel like anyone who says they should pay less because of their money are lazy people, people who have the chance to change their life, but choose not to because the goverment will baby you through you're whole life..

All we can do is pray that after this travesty of and administration is done, that the next guy in line can fix what Obama has done and is doing.

Most people think the person on the other side of town with a big house and boat is "rich." I agree it's pretty disgusting that responsible people who worked for everything they have are looked down upon, when the people in Obama's cabinet, who have far more money than even most people who are considered "rich," get away with not paying their income taxes for years. Yet with an average person, all they need to do is make a simple mistake on their tax returns and they are liable to get their door kicked in by the IRS.

I kind of wish the CRA would kick down my door. I could use the company.

Does the IRS actually repossess your furniture and shit like that? I thought that only happened in the movies.

    Interweb:
The IRS can levy property of a taxpayer to satisfy tax liabilities. The levy can include almost everything the taxpayer owns, but there is a list of items in the tax code that are not subject to levy. One of those things is the taxpayer's principal residence. Even that can be taken if a federal judge signs off on it, but this doesn't happen very often. They also can't take the first $6250 worth of personal property, including furniture.

    Source(s):

26 USC section 6331 (IRS right to levy)
26 USC section 6334(a) (property exempt from levy)
26 USC section 6334(e)(1)(A) (levy allowed on principal residence on approval of district court judge)

People have their lives destroyed by the IRS everyday. No, it isn't only in the movies.

Epic lawl. Maximum fine in Canada is $25,000 or up to 12 months in prison here. I've only known people who've had their paycheques garnished.

I'm not afraid of the CRA. I kind of like them.

    Haha. They take your furniture.

Yeah, it just doesn't seem believable to me. Like, what is the government going to do with warehouses full of furniture, you know?

It doesn't make much sense. Haha, and I don't mean to laugh, but it is kind of funny.

It isn't funny. You're trying to make a laughing matter out of something that just isn't funny. The IRS and their goon squads have terrorized and broken apart entire families by simply kicking in the wrong doors, or the doors of people who have simply made minor errors on their tax returns. It happens more than you think. They are also selective in who they target. Political activists who are outspoken against the government (particularly the IRS) are some of their biggest targets. This isn't even taking into consideration that the IRS is completely unconstitutional in the first place.

God only knows what they do here (ironic).
But, I've been charged £400 for not filling in a form (self-assesment) I was never sent and never knew I had to fill in. Bastards.

    Lol...I fear to ask why.

Apparently. Bit much, imo...but better than prison.

selling it to companies who refurbish it and sell it at a profit.

just like they do with things they confiscate at airplane checkpoints

and the airports do with your lost luggage.

It is a little funny. Because it's melodramatic and hypersensitive.

Do they actually kick down the doors too, like they do in the movies?

Ahhh, so that's what they do. All this time I thought they were also running a lucrative side career as home staging agents.
