i don't really believe clinton urging them to make risky loans had much to do with it. bush "urges" people not to smoke weed, the point is, i doubt they really cared what clinton had to say, if he did even tell fannie and freddie to make the loans, they would have done whatever was good for their bank accounts.
You really think the president urging the 2 biggest companies that back up mortgage loans in the United States to offer sub prime loans on government credit and the notion they're backed up by government funds as they were created by the government has nothing to do with the housing sector which is a huge part of the economy? Kid take an economics class next year
no i don't, and i'm still not sure that he really did. big business has a history of controlling the government, not the other way around.
Trying to blame it on Bush vs Clinton is ridiculous. All across the world economies were headed the same direction.
Most of these tea parties are organized by the same think tanks and right wing groups who were supporting the debt and spend conservatives who started us thinking that massive deficits were a legitimate state to begin with. all of this propaganda that tax is a naughty word comes from that side, and now the groups that have made tax, and balanced budget profane are producing artificial grass-roots organizations to throw "tea parties" to protest the deficit that THEY STARTED. Politics as usual. you're being used.
Its not fake....... My Auntie ( 70+ yrs old) and cousins took the trip to Washington DC to have thier say.
