So do I. There was a lot of beauty here that I never noticed until I saw it with you. (San Leon is a small peninsula a little north of Galveston, btw.) I'm getting ready to move to Poland to be with Justyna, so I won't be here much longer. Goodbye, Texas, San Leon, and the U.S.A.!
I live in Rosanky.. Like an hour from Austin. I'm not idigionous to Texas.... I just moved to a commune down here like a month ago. I'm from Montana orginally.
i'm here in tex-ass. i was born in canada, and raised the first 10 years of my life in duluth, minnesota. i've lived in tex-ass about half of my life. just moved back here 3 years ago from seattle, when my mother died. i live in what use to be called 'san antonio,' but since urban dictionary has accepted my new name for 'san antonio,' i now offically live in 'shit city, texas.' there was once an expermental rock and roll band from here named 'the shit city dreamgirls.' one hell of a very good underground band! i re-named the city in honor of that band. if you should try to google 'shit city' you will be directed to the band, and if you google 'shit city, texas' you will be directed to my definition for 'san antonio.' i think it's a great name for this 'podunk' town! though i'm sure, the chamber of commerce would love to skin me alive. i think i'm more goth then hippie, but i guess, i'm some kind of "gothic flower child" at that.
I too used to live in Duluth MN. Went to East HS. I now live in San Antonio... NW Side of town. And yes...Shit City is a good analysis...
i have family that lives in San Leon.. I always loved going to visit because it's just houses and the ocean. so pretty and without all the distractions of the city. myself, Im in wichita falls (more like skitz-ita falls.. we got so many damn meth-heads here it's ridiculous) which is about 2 hrs nw of the metroplex.. where there isn't a damn thing to do but nothing. 8)
Small town texas here...Anyone ever heard of a little hole in the wall called Gainesville? So few 'different' people here that our local head/metaphysics shop closed down for lack of interest.
Surprisingly enough, it doesn't ring a bell (surprising, since I thought I knew most everybody) Sorry to disappoint...lol
No problem, you should totally go down there the people are awesome, they practically talk to you and ...wow its a trip.
Im here in the midland/odessa area..hometown of the cheerleader from heroes and friday night lights. Shitty little place with nothing to do, I wouldnt call myself a hippie but I have a very free ideal of life and I love to party!
Does anybody live in the Spring/Tomball area? I don't know many people as it is; it would be nice to meet someone interesting.
i live in SE Houston technically Seabrook right down the street from NASA. im not a hippy but im a down to earth spiritual type.
