Any strange writing habits?

I like to listen to music whenever I'm writing or, working on anything really. Oddly, I was typing up a story and I was struggling with it and then one of my favorite David Bowie songs came on and I all of a sudden looked at the plot from a totally differrent point of view. I did a bunch of rewriting and it changed the entire plot dramatically, but I like it a lot better.
