a friend of mine was arrested at oxygen last year because he was caught with a joint, had to go to court but everythings cool now.

saw massive attack last summer after smoking an 8th in half an hour then smoking sumo more pipes inside was incredibly mashed but fucking amazing gig

I believe this is not the same as hiring off duty cops to provide security, which looks like what happened from the article you cited, and either they got lucky, or somebody with a bunch of dope got stupid.

 

yeah, just don't be stupid when you go to a concert. if you see a cop hide your drugs and that's all you have to do to not get arrested. if they try to search you just say no

 

bit of both id say...people are a bit too open at concerts and festivals i think..thats a bit hypocritical of me to say but i didnt bring anything in with me to massive attack, was just offered.

Festivals are the only thing that i would bring stuff to but i dont get into festivals using the conventional way
sneaking in is just as good

 

i saw like 3 cops the whole time i was at hampton, they were directing traffic and standing by the door.
but then again there were people passing out/ puking and just being way too fucked up as always. people never try to hide it or anything there just walking around trying to sell to anyone so it makes me think

 

my guess is half of it was tanks.. or at least i hope... i fuckin despise hippie crack
