Cheers mate! :D I had a good night, got home about half 11, had half a joint and i was asleep lol!

Nah, im pretty sure that aint me lol - my posts are sometimes useful, rarely tasteful and never conciderate hahahaha!

Im only LIP on here and boards.cannabis.com

    :D

It's the version of pool that takes skill - smaller balls, and a much bigger table. The table is 12ft by 6ft, green cloth. Theres 15 reds and 1 yellow, 1 brown, 1 green, 1 blue, 1 pink, 1 black.

It'd be easier to explain with a picture but im too stoned to find the upload - either that or i cant upload pics yet.

Almost anyone can play pool and play quite well, but snooker takes ALOT of practise.

Man, LIP, I'm sorry about you guys smaller balls, LOL... J/K, couldn't resist, LOL...

And you are wrong about almost anyone playing pool well. I have sucked at pool from day one. Now Foosball, that's a different thing. I rule at Foosball, LOL...

burnabowl, a Goody's powder is like a BC powder, if you guys have them up there in Seattle. They are like aspirin, but are powders, resembling cocaine. They come in these little packets that you open, pour out the powders on your toungue, and wash it down as quickly as you can with anything that is wet. The powders taste like hell, but they are the only thing that relieves my headaches. And I've tried every head pain reliever out there.

    LOL!

I used to drink way too much - i could drink a bottle of whiskey in an hour, and used to drink beer all day [not to get drunk, i just kept drinking them like a normal person drinks water throughout the day.]

The thing is, i hate being drunk - so now i only drink spirits in small amounts to enjoy them - but im still a big beer drinker. I can finish a case of 24 in a day by myself.

It's very rare that i ever get drunk now. Infact, i think christmas is the only time i get drunk... and on christmas im pissed as a parrot by 10am! [IMG]

Any other time and im stoned, with a nice beer to quench my thirst.

I love my whiskey and dark rum though! [IMG] I just dont abuse them anymore.

does anyone on here remember the forum on cann.com called "other psychotropics." that was the first one to go to the chopping block. a lot of people left after that. that was a great forum, full of information and intelligent helpful people. it was one of my favorite parts of the site. then they fucked it up.

I remember the days of freedom. Days where age was a number and information was shared. A forum like this one is.

well, you must be the LIP because it was indeed boards.cannabis.com that I was referring too. I guess in comparison to the majority of the posts on forums yours seemed a lot more insightful, hahah but seriously I think you had some well thought responses

I like it here too.. there is soooo much to look at. I dunno why, but im just not in a thread creating mood. i post replies quite a bit. there is alot of more negativity than Im used to tho.. LOL ima pay for a private forum, and make it chill.. soon.. when I feel like it, if Geo doesnt beat me to it. I just bought a pc, so, i can have fun with it.

yeah I agree with your sig, kaze. I thought someone was wearing hospital slippers or something the first time I saw them, then they were everywhere, and I felt like I was in a twilight zone; we had finally crossed the line from pop culture to collective insanity.

I try posting in the random thoughts forum, but I can't seem to be very lighthearted with a keyboard. When I'm thinking and typing, it naturally comes out all serious and sanctimonious. When I want irrelevant banter I watch "big brother after dark."

something I really like about these forums is that there seems to be a self-regulating spirit. perhaps since it's so big, but people sort of understand what is useful or meaningful or funny to post rather than putting up a post that makes you think "what the hell..such a wasteful post is painful to my eyes and to my soul.." Those abounded at the other place

also, when people have huge graphics for sigs here, they're artistic and tasteful and makes you want to space out at them for several hours. bis.com sigs were just gaudy and obtrusive

I agree. I spend more time in Random Thoughts.

It took me a while to get in the grove here.

    But this place kicks ass!

It's interesting reading your impressions of this site, having come from a similar one.

I think you'll find that most ppl here have a Social Conscience and a respect for the forums, the members and management. Not everyone of course, but we have ppl who've been around here 10 years, still posting! Teens back then, but now in their 20s. Many have turned into respectable adults during their time on the site.

Another thing that sets us apart is our forum guidelines (which have been copied by other websites). By emphasizing Free Speech, and protecting it, we allow ppl to discuss ANY subject they can think of, so long as it's not illegal (like threatening the President).

And of course we have a fascinating core of Old Hippies, some here a long time, others still finding the place. These are ppl who are now in their 50s & 60s. They've been thru just about everything from S.F.'s Summer of Love in 1967 to Vietnam to the Antiwar protests of the 60s.

You don't see that kind of group just anywhere (practically nowhere but here!). I suggest all newbies visit the Hippie forums and see what I mean, although you'll find they post everywhere. :)

Hell yeah, I've learned a lot about the 60's movement from reading some of what the boomer's post. I'm more envious of the youth in that time period than at any other point in history. But right now is a pretty good time to be young, too. The history forum is unlike anything I've seen in one place.
