How could rap fans not like Dylan, a very early rapper, and a good one, to my ear.
Common ground, or different opinions, we can choose which to focus on and pursue.
Chuck Berry was the original rapper, to me.
Accept, yes, knowing that I am not the only one believing this is very empowering.

I am not a big fan of certain genres, but if we all had the same tastes and views there would be no need to talk. lol
I am relieved and reassured by the identifying idiosyncrasies of different demographics. They say who I am, you are, and as long as they are not hateful, they are acceptable to me. Are Canadians overly polite, too slow to decide what to do, and beer and cheese addicts. Not all are, but we have no shortage. Do Germans like beer? French their wine? Do the British have a bland, generic culinary history?
Are Americans ready to go and fight anywhere, acting as the worlds cops?
Are they the worlds cops?
Is that okay, and if not who should be.

As for rap, Eminem has a sense of irony and humour I find generally inoffensive, yet at times sexist. Probably planned to raise the profile of the album through the vehement condemnations.

The Beatles, etc. showed how a long tiime ago when they was fab.

orsino2 that was a great and true post. I like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and the Grateful Dead be for I ever herd of eminem.back when I in 1996. I went to a cool neil young concert once and it rocked out.

 

Thanks... I've always wanted to see Neil Young... and I HOPE I'll see another Dylan concert... I missed my chance to see Bob Weir and the Dead becuase the cancelled the tour due to exhaustion... I like all music, so I know how you feel. I have nothing against laughing at Snoop Dogg lyrics when I'm stoned... I just do it for a change sometimes

 

ohh, yall were talkin about the GTA games? i effin love those, they're great. when i got too tired to play i'd just put it on a radio station and park the car somewhere and listen hahaha... it'd suck when someone hijacked you tho haha...
