I think the Anons are pretty cult-like themselves and the fact that they claim to all be "anonymous" says a lot about their little troop and plans for world domination. It's sad, but from the posts that I've read, they all kindda... seem to lack a real sense of individuality - a separateness from their group. In that respect, it's very easy to label them as being all the same and brand them as such.

They don't really bother me either. This is a free speech site and they are perfectly welcome.

I am skeptical about their effectiveness as a protest organisation. As someone else said, they seem to lack direction, they can't organize themselves and they troll more than they stand up for their beliefs. They aren't really provocative, just confusing, and sometimes entertaining.

 

I got a nice PM from one "dropping the veil" a little...which was nice.
