The argument for removing his answer to that question is probably that it would endanger national security. Hard to follow the reasoning that investigation by means of torture supplies accurate material.
Have you talked/seen some of the older generations In europe? Especially in Paris? Ohh boy, an ignorance coated heavily with arrogance is a terrible combo. Or at least much of the more well off are like this. There are plenty of very friendly older people too, but I would say some are still pretty ignorant to anything outside of their area. Most of the younger kids I talked to are kind and at least of average intelligence. I did not find them to be more intelliegent in comparisson to Americas in regards to knowldege of international life. More interested? HECK YES. they ask a lot more questions than many of my friends here in the states. The French tend to know a HELL OF A LOT MORE about their own country than Americans do about their own. I think Canada and England, from what I saw, were actually a little worse in ignorance. But that was just what I saw. But PR is right, ignorance aplenty no matter where you go.
Here's how dumb the public is haha (American) 60% of Americans believe Noah's Ark happened as described in the Bible. 61% believe the story of creation as desribed in the Bible. 64% believe that Moses parted the Red Sea. 10% think Joan of Arc was Noah's wife. 70% of Americans don't know who gave the Sermon on the Mount. 40% of Americans can name at least 5 of the 10 commandments. 80% think all 10 are good moral guidelines. 10% of Americans can't find America on a map. 52% believe in astrology. 33% believe in Atlantis. 41% think dinosaurs and humans lived at the same time. 35% believe in ghosts.
Many think we have made life for the Iraqis better, and that Afghani women are now free and educated.
They've televised that part on so many U.S. shows, didn't they show an interview with some Afghan women and how well they now had it on last year's Super Bowl? I don't remember what sports championship it was but it was something along those lines.
Ignorance is open to interpretation, do most older Europeans not like Jews? Maaaaaaaaaaaaybe, but is that actually wrong? Most Americans don't take too lightly to Arabs or Russians.
I don't associate with people that have a problem with any nationality, people like that are ignorant and unworthy of my time. I think your wrong in your assumption that MOST americans "don't take too lightly" to arabs or russians, I believe MOST americans have NO problem with arabs or russians, its just they get pushed aside by the loud, arrogant ranting of the ignorant people who hold that flawed ideology.
this thread is confusing. i'll stick to my fox news, thank you very much. i like the flashy colors and moving pictures.

I am an American and I have no problem with any other nationality. I don't pick enemies by their nationality, religion or the way they dress or their sexual preferences or skin color so don't count me in your tally Max.
There are only two sides to the camera - youre either spinning or being spinned nopw since I can bet my bottom dollar you dont have any sway in politics or the media then I can safely assume you are one of the general public - in which case - you just know as much as everyonelse BTW I dont take offence to any of it but I just think the level of conversation in the politics forums is about as great as a baboons tea party most times especially on the subject of how people are being bullshitted by governments - we've all been bullshitted thats the point or there wouldnt be any such thing as a government - theyve bullshitted us all for 2000 years in Europe and I cant see how you can be the only one that dont fall for it - Its simply a case that "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time."
