Harris rejected PAC money in 2018. She then accepted PAC money in 2020. In 2024 she accepted money from PACs, same as Trump. My mistake, apparently you can't bring a knife to a gun fight.
They were bragging about how much money she raised in a couple days no way that came from small donations. It was not about money it was strategy and horrible choices.
Money out of politics....sounds great, and I support that idea. But it looks like Harris tried that in 2018, as did Obama in 2008. In 2018 185 other Democratic candidates and two Republicans agreed not to take money from PACS. In 2020 119 Democrats pledged not to take PAC money.....63 of them lost. The public says they care......but they don't. Another example of people mouthing off, yet when it comes to voting they really don't care.
Not just for show like they did. get rid of lobbyists cap how much a person can donate to a campaign, elected officials prohibited from trading stock there are a bunch of changes that can be made
Lobbyists are one of the most corrupt aspects of our government revolving door of people paying politicians off l. if that does not change in a real way laws of transparency and heavy regulation or gotten rid of completely your not getting money out of politics your just putting on a show. It all sounds good...but as I said the voting public doesn't care and doesn't care to try to understand what you're saying. The only way to bring those changes to fruition is to elect those who will do so. Since the public voted for the biggest political grifter in American history, a convicted felon, liar, sexual predator, etc...it ain't going to happen in my lifetime. Nice thought though.
