Reagan? you fucking retarded son of a bitch, you probably think like this cause your a fucking crack baby.
that was a stupid and ridiculous thing to say. however, using "mr. reagan" as some sort of insult was also foolish. why is it that ANY thread in the music forum whose topic is even mildly controversial always turns into this namecalling shit?
ya, we are. even if we weren't, we would be a few days later because i easily forget and forgive. so, ya, you're cool
Sorry, I can't read that. You see, I don't speak tard. But, seriously, I hope you kept the receipt for your brain.
jeeezzzus people, get over yourselves. first off, talent is not based off how difficult a song is to play. if you think that then you seriously need to learn something about music. second, having a video on mtv or your song on the radio dosnt mean you've sold out. once again, maybe you need to learn something about music and public relations. third, all bands, ALL BANDS, change their sound. it's a natural process and anyone that knows anything at all about music would know this. it's a process called "maturing". i don't really know one band that has put out a lot of albums whos music has stayed exactly the same, whether it be rock, rap, pop, electronic, folk, or country. I think maybe you people need to stop pretending that you know what's good and what's not, and stop pretending that you're all music experts. Based on what's here, you're not even close. Your opinion is great, but that's all it is. Learn to accept that. A band that dosnt sell themselves and their sound is a band that's set out to fail. Even if you're the most anti-corporate band out there. And guess what? Even if your don't like Greenday, they're more successful than you and most people will ever be.
Hmm, the band are portraying a relevant message (even if it is a bit.. obvious in the way it does it) but the music is nothing special.
almost anything you hear on the radio lacks emotion. and if it seems like they have emotion, they're faking it. they're all just trying to rake in big bucks...
which brings up a good point inbloom. a lot of people say that music now lacks emotion, etc. please tell me how you know what an artist is feeling and thinking when he's writing a song. unless you definitly know all of todays music is not the artists own music, or you happen to know every artist on the radio personally.
