There's a stereotype about Europeans too. We think they're anorexic Milan runway wannabes who drink Perrier and roll their own cigarettes because they like to think that it's an art form to die from cancer and something existential about it all. Silly stink-thin waifs. You export all your cheeses to us and lack protein. (I'm being silly, btw)
lol wow.. touchy touchy!! I didn't say my family and friends thought all Americans were fat.. they just made a comment about noticeable fatness of *some* people on *some* pictures
that's true. I already lived in Europe and knew that for myself. one thing I will say is that in the States I never saw people queue up in front of a Burger King waiting for it to open, but I have seen this is Spain. but the excuse is that Euro McDonalds is "higher quality".
Spain is the fattest Euro country. And if people queue up in front of Mc Donald's it's because it's not open 24 hrs like in the U.S, with 100 employess!!!! I've seen people queue up in front of Mc Donald's in the U.S nonetheless, even with 5 cash registers open (as oposed to usually 1 in Spain or France).
well that wasn't clear from the way you worded the OP. and touchy? I'm not affected by what short sighted people in other countries think of Americans. besides, historically speaking you're the touchiest person I know about these kinds of things. you're the one who cried for an hour when your philosophy prof made a joke about the French.
