I didn't say my family and friends thought all Americans were fat.. they just made a comment about noticeable fatness of *some* people on *some* pictures

 

that's true.
I already lived in Europe and knew that for myself. one thing I will say is that in the States I never saw people queue up in front of a Burger King waiting for it to open, but I have seen this is Spain.
but the excuse is that Euro McDonalds is "higher quality".

I've seen people queue up in front of Mc Donald's in the U.S nonetheless, even with 5 cash registers open (as oposed to usually 1 in Spain or France).
