Am I hot - Insanejester

My post really wasn't directed at you. I've read enough of your posts to know that you deal criticism in an intelligent, articulate manner. Personally, I don't see that Insanejester's vanity is all that out of line with folks in his age group. We all go through our "indestructible" stage where we are at the height of our health and youthful good looks and he is in the middle of that age. Most of us just outgrow the need to be adored- probably coincidental with age having its inevitable eroding effect on our looks... I don't think you're quite there lynsey, but no doubt you'll have strength of character to cope when you are. I'm guessing that the jester won't go all to pieces once he realizes that he's gotten all the mileage he can from his looks. It has been said that beauty is skin deep but ugly goes all the way to the bone. That little truism is something we all would do well to reflect on.

 

ok, u may be good looking or whatever, but i certainly dont like what u post in here. so that makes me doubt about ur personality in general.

i advise you to cool off. and i wonder why anybody, knowing he has good looks and being that self confident needs some approval?? esp guys, thats so sissy. i can understand girls doing so, but in your case, i personally find it senseless.
and maybe looking at my photograph u d say my opinion doesnt count, still thats what i think.

no I think I said your constant worry over 'trivial bullshit is annoying and sad' you do not personally annoy me...as i find many things in life annoying but I do not go around being constantly in a state of annoyance

Because you asked for my opinion and i gave it to you...uhm I mean this is your thread asking people a question isn't it? And the whole is what makes up attractiveness so I was honest in saying you are not my type and generous in saying you were conventionaly attractive. I just find such blatent insecurity regarding looks and seeking out of constant attention for them very troubeling. You don't have to live like this.

I said I wouldn't make any more posts here, but maybe I'll make one more. Insanejester, I think you should apologize to lynsey for what you initially said to her. If you do that shows you are a man and can acknowledge your errors. If she is rude to you after you have apologized, then that would reflect bad on her (although I don't think she has been rude on this thread, but merely reacted to your comments, like others). Same with blackrose. If you are incapable of rectifying a squabble on a hippie message board, what's the point to even being here?

I looked at your photos further and my impression is that you are good-looking, but not alpha material. Take that as a compliment, because that puts you above most people. Then again, I could be wrong, because, as I have said before, no one here knows the real you.

I do not see a deeper meaning. Care to tell me what it is?
It's annoying because it makes me think of how superficial our culture is in general and how sick it is that most everyone under 30 is worried sick about their physical appearance and spend more time worrying about that than on how to make this world a better place. Is that clearer?

i have to admit it takes me a good half hour to "recock" my gun after dropping a good load. especially if i linger and squeeze out every drop of joy juice from my coinpurse.
