Right. You both work. Then he should share the chores, but then office work is hardly demanding. Hard labour is. Ever done it? No you haven't have you.

How old are you skib? Different people have differing levels of preference with the type of work they do. Some people love to do physical labor, some people love doing more mentally stimulating work. For some one is easier than the other. You don't know that office work is not demanding for her, it certainly is for a number of people. Why do you have to be so condescending to women? Don't you think that maybe if you speak/type to women like equals, rather than children maybe you'd get what you want from them and stop being so bitter?

Office work can be demanding as well of course. He's just out to provoke through lame generalisations.

I work hard. My wife works part-time and doesn't have to work if she doesn't want to. If you think working with your mind can't be very demanding then I'm going to assume you haven't spent much time doing it. Also....try being a stay-at-home parent for a while....that shit is demanding even though some would say it isn't a "job". There have been plenty of times when our kids were younger where I was happy as hell to get to leave and go to work.

I've done all manner of jobs, came home, cooked for myself, and then went to be alone. I guess probably because I'm a male chauvinist pig. Hope all the Bridget Jone's driving their renault clio's appreciated the hard work I put in to build the motorway underpass they all use to get to their office jobs each day though.

And build your own houses, wire your on electricity, plumb in your own sanitation and defend yourself against potential rapists.

I agree. I want a more traditional marriage where I make the money and fix shit, and the woman cooks, cleans, and takes care of the kids. But not because I'm telling her she has to. I want someone who wants to do that, who has that strong nurturing woman thing going on.

I've dated the whole spectrum. The worst are the ones who don't make money or help with the house, and feel entitled because they give up sex.

I agree with some of the stuff you are saying but most of it (especially this entire post) just make you sound stupid.

Taking care of a house is not an easy job, your first problem is if you somehow think you are above that and undermine the woman you are never going to find a woman like that. And second of all, if you would 'gladly' stay home then I have to wonder if you have any balls. Men are designed to go out and provide. Now obviously if I marry a doctor or something it would make more sense for her to work but I wouldn't accept that 'gladly'.

So as much as you bitch about women not being women, why don't you focus on being a man?

The trouble is deviate is young women these days all want their own independence, yet they seem to think working as a capitalist wage slave in a pointless admin job, for example, gives them that. You can't really be more independent than if you are a house wife? none of them value jobs like cooking any more. I love cooking, and don't really find house work a great chore. Working on a building site in winter is a chore though.

The whole world around us has been made comfortable and civlized by men like me, yet for my efforts I don't get to come home to a nice warm meal and a the sensual touch of a beautiful woman. Instead, I go out to a pub and get moaned at for trying to talk to them.

Very ungrateful creature are women today.

I've been with men who wanted to stay home and be a house-man and they did an absolutely terrible job of it. It mostly consisted of gaming and making a mess. I know there are some awesome single dads and all that, but that is usually a cop-out when men claim to want to stay at home and take care of the house.

There is no, "only men work and only women take care of the house" thing going on anymore. Women and men, can and do a lot of the same things, many women have built their own homes, repaired, rewired, etc. and most of the time women are the ones protecting themselves from rapists, if there is any protection at all.

We don't live in times when women don't have to go out and make a living and for the ones who are able to stay at home and take care of house and kids, that's work too. A lot of these men/women are damn good at cutting costs too.

"The worst are the ones who don't make money or help with the house, and feel entitled because they give up sex."

Those are the worst types of women AND men. It's increasingly common to find "gold-digger" men these days too. The worst is when they are dependent on their women but still have the idea they are better, stronger and entitled to belittle her just because he has a penis.

Lol, that's cute. Ever kept a house spotless, healthy meals made from scratch on the table while caring for toddlers, babies, and dogs? On top of that, handling the finances, running the errands, doing the shopping, AND still making time for fitness and playing sports? Being a stay at home mom is tough shit. Anyone can do it, but it takes a fucking super hero cape to do it well.
All of this coming from a woman who used to work 70 hour weeks, keep her house spotless, meals made, and the kids in check.

Staying home all day and doing it well is harder.

Don't see the big issue. I have no issues doing my BFs laundy. He offers me security in a legion of different ways and I expect certain things from him (changing light bulbs, heavy lifting, bug extermination, back rubs :sunny:) so why would I make a hassle out of cooking/cleaning? We both contribute in different ways - I do what comes more naturally to me (cooking and cleaning) and he does what comes more naturally to him; and this just coincidentally makes us fit our respective gender roles (though we in no way force ourselves to conform to them).

Men and women ARE different :2thumbsup:. Division of labour is always the answer

Single dad here. Sometimes it was hard---but I got 'er done. Every single man should try raising their kids. It was good for me. Of course I worked too.

I did all that you mentioned, MAMA. My head spun sometimes when I had to quit work, get one kid to play ball someplace and another to play ball 15 miles away, pick 'em up at the right time,etc-----and then came dinner time ---reading for bed time-etc. I look back on all that fondly.

You're wrong.. a lot of them do have that attitude but a lot don't.

You sound ridiculous. Let me ask you something, what have you actually done to contribute to the world around us? What do you have to offer a woman? It's a two way street bub.

I've done my fair share and more.

What have I offered women? Everything they could ever want, especially cunnilingus.
