Actually, We were Hippy, Ppl called us hippies bc we were hip to the jive., meaning we were aware, in the know, HIP. We came from the 1950s Beatnicks, who were aware we needed change. The Beats were the thinkers, the Hippies were the doers. We were their little bros n sis's. We came from their seed. It's not what is ON your head, It's what is in your head and heart that make you a human being, we are all human beings and that is where you start, being human. We live in the NOW of things, we are present in our own bodies minds and spirits. We make changes in ourselves to change the minds of men. We set an example of where to begin. It begins with you. Be the change you would like to see in others. Black Tar was being spiteful when correcting you, she is unsure of herself and must berate others to appease her ego.. We dont need no stinking correction!! And we dont care how you spell it. It is what is in your heart that matters. It's the LOVE you carry, the love that you pass around. It's giving and reciving. It's realizing you are part of something grand and you have the power to excell into the wonderment we call life. Dont let others drag you down, they are learning too, as we all are. Be yourself, know that you are where you are suppose to be and BE There. As long as you are showing the love, you are on the right path. Bright Blessings on your journey sh
There are a few things you can do so that, kids in high school, and a little older will call you hippy... Long hair, have a stoned look on your face, rasta colors, patchouli.. Hemp necklace (inland northwest style the fatter the better) but truly I dont think hippies exist anymore.. except for those who actually experienced that generation. Its not the same anymore and never will be Just be yourself, and try to do something that will make people proud
