To be honest, here in America, it is a slippery slope to say you don't like holidays and people think you are weird/crazy if you don't celebrate them cause 99.9% of the people do..

Yup. Typical groupthink mentality, which is why I don't exactly... mesh with some of the people here. And I am fine with that. I come here to express my opinions, not make friends or care about whether people think I am a "dick" or not.
It is called Allerheiligen here in the Netherlands. It's not an official holiday and I don't think many people actively celebrate it, maybe some old people. Also it's not meant to visit dead peoples graves, but to honor all of the god knows how many saints.
Nah, a great deal of people actually like me around here. I wouldn't expect you to understand that. Ask the mods if I've thumbed up any posts in here, including my own. I'd rather rep or neg rep people. I'm not into anonymity.
Exactly. Only if people get a day off from work they seem to care about a holiday, even though they have no clue what it is about.
