Today, in The Washington Examiner, Tim Carney states that the Iraq intervention is all about Oil; also that ISIS, is a consequence of Bush's War in Iraq.

But our President cannot allow those refugees to be killed or starved due to domestic political considerations. humanitarian considerations also.

Yet again, America has done little to recover the girls kidnaped from a Christian school in Nigeria by Boko Haram; even if Nigeria has Oil.

Here is a fairly informative link. No idea why it won't embed but it's part 1 of a 5 part series. Each part is around 10 minutes long. I must say that it's very interesting to see this story from the other side. Not agreeing with IS at all but our media seems to be painting this group as a bunch of armed marauders roaming the countryside and terrorizing people as they come to their towns. In fact, they are much more well-organized, effective and entrenched than that. It seems like the adult population immediately falls in line and the kids talk about IS with the same glazed-over look in their eyes that the kids in the documentary "Jesus Camp" had.

A few airstrikes may save some lives but it will take a lot more than that to make these guys go away. I suggest watching all 5 parts of the series.

I'd like to see the march up north, that would be spectacular.. and funny. I wonder if they would know how to fight on a completely different geographical environment other than desert sands... Trap them in a forest bomb the hell out of it...

I was thinking about that earlier. In that video link, there is some kid (maybe 12 or 13) going on about how the fight starts there and eventually they will defeat the US and raise their flag over the White House. Um....ok, kid. Good luck with that. We have this thing called winter that is going to make you wish you never came here. To hell with our armed forces and citizens....we'll just let winter kill you.

Well, they're intended to hit people. So, calling them air-strikes is the Administration's way of saying that they view the people they bomb as air-heads, or just air . . . I guess. That's the only thing that makes sense anyway.
