See if you can get a doctor to prescribe you Silver Sulfadiozine ointment. It will help the burn heal faster, take the sting out and keep it from scarring badly. Trust me on this one. The stuff is a miracle in a jar.

yea once i was retarded and put gas in a burn barel then put my hand in it (with the lighter) flicked the fling BANG! yea my arm was 3dergree burned my hair was on fire n shit. yea stupid idea eh? <true story ( i was bitchin for the doc to give me a morfean shot he did i felt pretty good (still hert alittle thought)

 

sylvadine works miracles, but, unfortunately, it works best when you get it on a burn immediatly!!

 

I had a burn for a day and a half before starting treatment with it - it still did the job. Better late than never.

 

Part 2: The accident......

okay... after my best friend, Thalia, dropped me off at ERgirl's house, she went back to a party we were at earlier... and ERgirl took me over there too because at this point i had no shirt, no shoes, no belt, purse, cell phone, wallet, etc.... but when we got to the other house Thalia was no longer there. They said she had just left to take some dude home.

when i was sitting talking to some of the ppl there, ERgirl was pulled aside by my ex-boyfriend and then she went and got me to take me to the hospital, and she explained briefly to me on the way that there had been an accident. Thalia had ran into a pole on the South Loop going about 80 or 90, according to the passenger who was left at the scene, and who also said that she hit him with her car...

I went home with ERgirl and crashed on her couch at about 5:30/6:00 this morning, threw up about an hour later... bah gross.... and then at about 11 was woken up by her with her phone and my mom on it asking where i am and what happened...

she showed up at the apartment about 20 mins. later and told me she had been bawling all morning because the cops called my house asking about me and saying they found my purse, etc, and the passenger of the car is in the hospital on morphine and the driver is nowhere to be found... upon hearin that, and not being able to get a hold of me(i was passed out and didn't have my phone with me) they were able to get a hold of Thalia's number and had to try calling her for 3 hrs before she finally answered the phone. my mom thought for sure the girl was on some kinda drugs for the way she was acting... who knows, shit, i really don't think she's done anything for about 3 yrs, but there was some available at one point last night.

anyway...... i'm not sure where Thalia is, probably at the police station, the passenger is fine, i'm home and fine, and ERgirl is probably telling everybody she knows what happened last night hehe...

damn. i think that's the end of it. haha.

 

Yeah I was pretty drunk one night standing in the kitchen talking to someone. Anyway I was all fucked and I didn't know the burners were on and my retarded ass stuck hand down on the burner and didn't relize it before it was to late. I had i sizzled hand after that and it smelled really bad.



Damn that was a crazy story

 

wow, maybe it works differently, but i do know that it is the best prescribed cream for burns on the face of the planet!!

 

tigerlily - I'm serious. You still have a window of opportunity on this, call a doctor (or have your mom call your family doctor, that usually works pretty fast) and get this ointment (Silver Sulfadiozine) It wll help. Unless, you want to keep the burn scar. It has a sort of 'tribal ritual scarification' thing going for it, but it's gotta be painful.

 

oh yeah! i forgot to add all my stuff that i am missing is at the police station and can't be retrieved until tomorrow. And, my car is at another friend's house and also can't be retrieved until tomorrow when i get my keys. haha haaa....

oh and i checked on the medicine stuff and i can go to the doctor tomorrow at school for free, so they can get me a prescription.

ouch! i can only imagine how much that hurt, i got burned once by ravilli that was pretty hard on my stomach, i woke my mom up who threw me in the shower and then cryed for hours, and had to wear this thing(my mom used to be a nurse)for like a week, nothin to show for it though

 

the driver called me a few times today... changing her story and stuff, the last thing i know, she was saying she was by herself when she drove home... and she hit the curb and the car stalled, so she walked the rest of the way... i don't know what's going onwith that girl... she's no longer allowed to party with us... but i doubt i'll be doing much partying after last night.
