yeah, Earthbound is an awsome game.
Its funny how many drug referances there are in that game tho.

 

to get my fill until it comes out on the VC for Wii i was reading up on the game itself a bit more, and there are sooo many referances to everything from beattles to heroin it's crazy

All these people talk liek its so hard to find PS3's and WII's theres a gamestop right aross the street has like 5 of each and has had them for like months.


The PS3 and the Wii are much better than the Xbox, you can download old PS1 games with the PS3 and the remote play with the PSP is awsome too.

I knew that Wii has something like that from reading about it one time, but wow man I had no idea sony was going to ca$h in on that too! Right on man, thanks for making my choice much easier once I have the money (which wont ever happen, but hey fuck it, thanks for info anyway)

 

Yep, Crash Bandicoot, Cool Boarders, Syphon Filter, and Hot Shots Golf 2, and Tekken are the only ones out yet, but, they're plannign on releasing hundereds of more PS1 games.


On another note, the PS3 allows third party software, which has mass potencial, maybe even playing PC games and such. Internet browser, downloadable games, free downloadable games, instant messenger. And they just keep releasing more things, The Wii is great, but PS3 has much more potencial. Even more with its abilities with the PSP, I mean yea the DS can connect to the Wii, but the DS is a peice of shit compared to the PSP.

the fucking file encryption and data management is so complex, i would be scared to mess with it in order to run roms, and PC dvd's etc.

2 of my buddies both have Ps3's and both are pretty disapointed with them, besides the blue ray DVD player, it doesnt offer much else at the moment

as for finding wii's and PS3's, in Vancouver PS3's are easy to come by, Wii's on the other hand...are nearly impossible

 

i have the ps3, its pretty sick. ive played the 360 but not yet the wii, and i didnt really like the 360... it was basically xbox with better graphics. anyway, the ps is sick my only complaint for right now would be lack of games and accessories... and the price. a new controller is 50 bucks, and finding games is hard, most stores have the same 10 games. headsets are non existant as well so far, but its definitely a sick system. i love all the special features and extras it has. not to mention free online play.

 

I own one. Yes, it's way out of my league, but, there's thousands of Emulators and hackers out thier breaking the encryption on every PSP update there is. So, I'm sure its not logn before they start working on the PS3. Well, just think about the BR, the cheapest BR DVD players I've seen in stores are like.. 1,000+ dollars. Your getting on as an added bonus for free. Just wait a year or two BR is the next big thign in the movie industry.

 

i played the wii just after christmas at my cousin's house, and it was deifnetly great. any age can play it (at least wii sports...even my 80 year old gramma),

lol got distracted watching simpsons

anyways i think the wii is wicked but i wouldn't get it for another like 2 versions (like not wii 2, but wii 3), cause the next systems nintendo releases after wii are probably going to incorporate some even more kick ass technology. on the other hand the ps3 is waaay too expensive for me to consider, but it sounds kinda cool... but not for the price

 

yea exactly, even though the PS3 has a high price tag, the blue ray DVD player definatly justifies buying it just for that
