ugh all i wanted to say was how proud of my little sweetie I am for communicating with me. I thought it was cute. I didn't want this to turned into a bunch of crap about what babies can or cannot do by what age. Mothers like to talk about how proud of their babies they are, not statistics. I didn't mention anything about my daughter being smart, smarter or better than anyone else so why do I feel like you want to rub my nose in your research? Or just trying to prove me wrong??? To me my baby is special. Let me enjoy that.

sorry for invading your thread. :( It is a very good thing to be proud of your children. i think the reason I said this was because recently I've been hearing a lot of mamas comparing their children to others. There was this one mama who had the nerve to ask why my nethew talked like a two year old since he is five. The lady said it in an ignorant way. My nethew is autistic. I'm going to shut up now so that the thread can return to you and Riley. Sorry again.
