My parents were 10 years apart, my paternal grandparents were 17 years apart, my guy and I are 9 years apart (All older males is what I'm saying)

The biggest difference was Grandpa being 34 when Gran was 17, but she was pregnant so----;) you know what happened back then-and he needed a wife to look after the 4 kids he already had, My Dad was 55 and my mum 45 when I was born, I had my only child at 40 (she's in an adoptive home because I was sick and child services pounced on us and grabbed her.)

So Lord knows what she'll prefer. My problem is I can't find a guy with a good mind, even tempered and non-judgmental.

Both my partner and our tenant are dictatorial pains in the butt, little boys who haven't grown up.:(

My boyfriend is 13 yrs younger than I am. I am getting up there so that I don't look "thirty-something" anymore. I definitely look older than him. I stopped noticing it when people look at us. He hasn't. It still bothers him. Also, it still bothers me when he gets carded and I don't.

My boyfriend is 8 years older than me, think age gaps are no problem at all as long as everyone is of age.

I have never dated guys younger than me, I think maybe because i'm not really into going out to clubs and stuff. I like being with someone who is over that :)

Reading this thread, I see that puritanical thinking afflicts even a bunch of hippies on a hippie forum. How disappointing. Look, the reason adults and children are not legally permitted to have sex with each other has to do with generalized differences between the two groups. And in general it's a good thing that this is the law because there is an inherent imbalance between children and adults in many different ways. However, like any other generality, there are exceptions to the rule. Something is not wrong merely because the law says it is. It may be illegal because the law says so, but interracial sex was once illegal, as was gay sex. Did that make them wrong? No.
