Well now that's not altogether true. I stated my view that I have a right to own a gun. The response of one particular poster was to refer to gun owners as weak little men who have a gun to compensate for a lack of a penis. So, yeah, some are definitely not worth listening to.

I've made the point that if elected officials, or those charged with enacting existing gun control, aren't doing their job, then anti-gun folks need to vent their frustration toward them, rather than people who claim their right to own a gun.

 

The other thing these Euros dont take into account is the number of black people in America and the crime that comes from that. Lets be honest.

We take the money from that and put it towards mental health.

 

And not only that but if we stopped propping up and enabling single black women to have a million kids then maybe that would have the effect of decreasing gun violence.

So ending the black welfare state could help in two ways.

Reapportioning that money towards mental health

And stopping support of broken black families whose kids often grow up to commit gun violence and wind up in jail.

 

I think the result would be more poverty and more violence. Those women, if employable, would have to leave their kids without adequate child care. And what jobs do you expect them to find in the ghetto? I guess you know we already introduced welfare reform and work requirements under Clinton. Republicans want to take what little safety net there is left, Medicaid, food stamps, and child healthcare, so they can give more benefits to the super-rich.The chances they'll spend the money on mental health instead of giving more to billionaires are nil. Mental health has never been one of their priorities, although they may talk about it when gun control is on the table. You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch!

Here crime is commonly primarily associated with poverty and certain kind of areas too. And guess what: a lot of non whites live there in our country as well. Same shit, diff country.

Also i think we need to reform the public school system. If kids didnt hate life so much sitting bored out of their minds they probably wouldnt shoot up schools.

 

One thing these shooters have in common is they're on psychiatric drugs that specifically have "suicidal ideation" and "homicidal ideation" as possible side effects.
