I rode the streetcar like that one night (without the beer). It was silly.

I have a number of life rules. At the top of the list is "don't die" but "you do you and I'll do me" is up there.

Love skating this hill... about a 120 foot drop over 5 blocks (can't see the top 1/5 in the pictures because it's not as steep):



And this random dude was heading up the hill so he gave me a ride. Skaters are rad like that, we stick together.

omg. that hill looks terrifying.

reminds me, i'm learning how to snowboard and every time i start picking up speed i just picture myself wiping out in some horrendous way--- so i make myself fall down lol.

i would freak out going down that hill. :O

 

Part of why I like it is that you go so fast that it's like snowboarding... without the ability to stop... and on a much less forgiving surface.

Stopping/carving is something you should learn how to do it's a lot simpler than falling on purpose.
