about to dread hair, but have one question 1st

thanks, i believe that the job thing is a lock. yeah i wish i could just fast forward the dreads to see how they turn out. i have not been palm rolling and i am not that concern about it anymore. after looking at some pics of Bob Marley (which was what inspired me years ago to even think about dreading my hair) i am going to let them do what they want. i will palm roll if they get really flat other then that, they are going to grow how they want. here is a pic as of yesterday. i have started a folder and i am taking one pic per day for a year so i can see the change and so in one year i can post it so people can see what happens in the first year. today pic will be taking after i shower.

 

take the bands out

 

i will be in another week. like i said, i have a job interview tomorrow so they are staying in for now, i just put them in last night

 

dude id take the bands out before the interboo.. thats partly why theyre still sticking up funny, and your dreads will not fall out without them =]

 

Hehe, you will look back at that pic at some point and think, "Why the fuck did I think wearing bands to the interview would be better than not?!" (I have a similar pre-gig pic and it makes me criiinnnge lol).

too much debate here right now about backcombing and natural. dreads are dreads to me so i wont be on here for awhile. thanks to everyone that helped me when i first asked about section size. from here on out i am letting my hair do its own thing, i like how i sectioned my hair where its not in a grid and where each section is a little bigger or smaller to the one next to it. i am going to be posting weekly pics for anyone who wants to know what a day to day is like instead of month to month. i hope this might help people who are considering dreading their hair so they wont be worried like i was the first three days lol. again thanks everyone! farewell for now
