Im adopted...so I guess I should be anti-abortion. But im pretty sure if my birth mom had choosen to get rid of me...I wouldnt care that she did. Im happy where I am. But Adoption shouldnt be seen as the easy fix. Because it causes a lot of issues to work through.

I on the other hand intend to do something more realistic, by fixing the adoption system and by providing substantial financial benefits to keeping the child, that's the way abortion will diminish.

I for one laugh at the second one for reasons unrelated to the income of the parents or whatever. It's just silly reasoning. What if he's the kid that grows up and releases an incurable virus on the populace, or shoots up his school, or decides rape would be more fun than curing cancer, etc. Any of which are much more likely than him curing cancer. And I'm not arguing that we should abort babies to avert these instances, because that would be silly as well. But a what if like that is not an argument. In addition, human beings aren't that special. One man won't cure cancer. Nor will one woman. If the research and labs and all that other stuff are in place, a cure probably will not result from one person with a huge veiny brain, but from a team with favorable circumstances.

 

why shouldn't men have a say in it. after all, that baby is a person, and it took two people to make that person, so half is his responsibility. we look at men skipping out on their girl when she's pregnant, and we say, "oh, how horrible. and it was his child too." but when she wants to kill it, let her have free reign. girls, listen up. that baby is a person. kill your own child, but remember it forever, as long as you live.

Here you are telling me no one can tell you what to do with your body, but you are telling me directly that I have no say, like it is a fact, and that I just care more about penile tumours because they pertain to men only, which I am, the fact is, a penile tumour cannot develop into a human being, women are the only of two sexes that are able to give birth to human life ( naturally, we'll have baby factories pretty soon anyway ), it is the female population of this earth and ONLY the female population of this earth that can prolong humanity, so if all the women decided they weren't going to go through with pregnancy, what then? Humanity dies, well obviously it all wouldn't die but you'd have a vast chaotic period as it would lead to a period where a large majority of citizens would be seniors and the youth would be overloaded with taxes to pay to keep those seniors alive and what we may have is anarchy and basically billions dying, I can't tell you this in detail in short.

Anywho, you yourself rely on " pro-life " females to give birth so humanity will go on, but what if more and more women develop your belief system? The huge ratio of 50+ civilians to under 20 will eventually come to pass, and you can use your own imagination in what would happen then. Pregnancy is a bitch, nobody is saying it isn't, a man would have to have a pound kidney stone stuck in his dick for a month to realise the position of a woman, but, until we get those artificial baby factories up and running there is really no option but to limit abortion to special circumstances.
