I've got a friend who I thought was cheating on his girlfriend a year ago because he started dating another girl while I thought he was still with this other chick, but it turns out chick number 1 is just freaking psycho and was convinced they were still together for about a month and a half after he dumped her. I'm not sure how that's relevant...I just figured I'd share. Anyway, I've known a lot of cheaters...I ended up being the "mistress" in one of the cases, completely unknown to me. I never slept with him, but lord, he cheated on that girl so many times in the 4 years they dated and finally got up the guts to tell her he just didn't want to be with her in January. Now he's going through a well-deserved period of abstinence and alone time. He just can't understand why, but I'm a firm believer in karma and think he got what was coming to him. I myself have been cheated on about twice, according to friends who witnessed it. I think guys who cheat are either emotionally abusive pricks or complete wussies who don't know how to break up with a girl so they can move on. Ugh. I'm really sick of reading posts in other threads about how the person being cheated on is partially at fault. Bullshit. It's the person who is dishonest and slimey enough to cheat who is at fault. Someone doesn't "make" someone else make that choice. Anyway, not all guys are scum...I'm really lucky to have one of those rare ones that aren't...he's already vowed to me that he'll ask before he pursues anyone else, lol. Not to mention, when would he have time to cheat on me? He's so addicted, he's with me nearly every waking moment...haha! I guess all the shit I put up with in high school paid off. I have a sweetie now, which makes me confident there are more like him. He's got two really sweet friends, too, that I'd loooove to hook up with someone, just because they're as great as he is. Haha.
i used to cheat a lot back in highschool. on the one girl i ever loved? no. on those little relationships that last 2 weeks or a month. yeah, sometimes it happened. now, i just don't get into relationships. i just date girls and try to enjoy myself... i make a pretty terrible boyfriend though.
Not only do most men not cheat it's looked down on as a dishonerable thing, at least among grown ups any way. and for my friends there are absolutly no excuses. a guy cant say "oh im cheating on her because she cheated on me. That sh*t dont fly, leave the chick or be straight up about taking it elsewhere, being sneaky has no honer and the trust you may have in him becomes questianable.
