I wish I was there when Page cried, it had to be emotional.

the saddest moment of coventry for me was when they passed the trampolines away and trey played a totally different solo than he ever has during YEM and it brought me to tears...

Yeah it will be I cant even imagine that first song, especially if it was something epic like YEM. That would be unreal.

in bittersweer motel trey said, " I think as long as your intention is pure, and you know what you're in it for, then you're alright. And I'm in it because I enjoy it. I take it seriously... real seriously. I mean I could sit and talk all day about the music. But I take it seriously because it gets me off. So the more I take it seriously, you know, practicing and stuff like that, the more I get off. "

I think trey still has this mentality and when they get back together they will practice and take it seriously not only for the sake of the music but because it does get them off.

    oh God. Please please please!!!

It's been too long. Since 2000 for me with 6 full tours under the belt.

Being a kid in the lots those days were amazing now I think back on it. Just had to come across a couple hundred bucks a show to be up in a hotel every night, gas, food etc. I don't know how practical it is these days though. Start savin' guys!

hah true. well i started listening to phish just after they broke up and have never heard them live or release anything new, so if I got that chance, it would be amazing. :cheers2:

They are absolutely my favorite band ever. They consume me. Now, when I listen to music, I look for stuff like Phish. I just try to find the greatest substitute for them. lOl they are like an addictive drug for me. Tea Leaf Green and Moe are the closest I have gotten, besides Amphibian, to their sound. Trey has some pretty good stuff and so does Page, but I am not sure about the other two, Mike and Jon but I just cant wait to actually experience them altogether as a current band!

What song, if you got to choose, would you want them to open up with, as their first song for the reunion? ? ?

They need to open with something goofy, like anything picture of nectar or before. Something to let me know that it's gonna be allllll-right and they're not going to be too serious about it.

I don't know about them going epic like YEM their first night, they haven't played in so long. They had problems playing YEM coming off 2-3 month breaks!

Thats exactly why they should open with yem. If they come out & totally kill it everyone will know instantly just how serious they are & how much they had to practice to get ready. PLus they have only opened with it once ever to my knowledge 7-9-03 & that was because it was the 1st time they were back at Shoreline amp. where they played their last show before their 1st hiatus & Yem was the final encore song before the hiatus. It was almost like a continuation. Using that logic though they might start with "the curtain with"

i hope they are serious and practice a shit ton, but I know that if they do get back together, they will be, and they will dive back in head first and hopefully blow everyone away

Divided Sky. I heard about the version when they came back from their hiatus. They couldn't start after the break in the middle because of how loud the cheering was.
