Ditto, all outta weed, hot, humid and miserable. what else am I going to do except stir the shit pot at good ole' HF.
But I will say what I find humorous is how wrong STP is concerning me. I am literally, absolutely a-political. I don't give a fucking rat's ass in Hades about whatever label or campaign button a person dons, I consider them based on the merits of their actions, not the actions of others who adorn themselves with the same slogans and bumper stickers. That's what makes it so funny, there is no label that applies to me, except maybe noxious asshole, I'll give him that one. But Noxious asshole or not, I have a strong suspicion that my musings about our friends methodologies and motives are more near to true that he is comfortable with. See, I am bored shitless if I typed all this garbage up...LOL
My logistics questions are still unanswered STP. And yes I will continually point this out for a significant amount of time until they are.
I hope he answers your post as well, monkjr. I'm applauding your efforts. It would be a shame if STP is asking for logical and in depth responses and answers and then would ignore yours. In fact, if he doesn't answer them with the same respect or effort I think it is reasonable to assume he is not interested in this discussion anyway, but more so in dissing people who made the effort of reading and responding with criticism to his theories.
At this point I might start a new thread of my own detailing how society as it currently stands now in the USA, with respect to where other countries are in their Economic policies, and foreign policies , need to synchronize on certain goals without international politics getting in the way. Another concept I personally believe in is that the real value behind money, is it's resources that money is exchanged for. Things I value more than gold: are food, shelter, clean drinkable water, weapons, and medicinal supplies and skills/knowledge, and then knowledge about math, and science. First off China has to float it's currency on the global free market, the USA government needs to reform campaign finances and candidates need to have expert knowledge on the committee chairs they sit on so they aren't so easily brainwashed by private lobbyists. There need to emerge a 3rd moderate political party with a figurehead that knows how to explain the big issues really well and relate to what everyday people are experiencing. And voting rights need to be protected just outright protected. Immigration policy needs to be looked at this point as both immigration policy but also as a humanitarian crisis, and for goodness sake if a child grew up here spent effort to get a good GPA, and shows loyalty to the ideals and wants to fill a job skill-set that is in high demand to keep the USA's economy flowing and globally competitive, he or she should be granted the privilege of staying on a work VISA, or at least be placed into the system at the back of the line.
If StpLSD25 knew even 5% of what I know...his head would explode! Things are not as they seem and what some believe to be the worst of us is often the best of us. The worst of us are way to careful to be known. TooReal
It's the sand. Sand is adequately eye for an eye; tooth for a tooth. This is the true peace settlement in Zion there with the Palestinians. So I observe lots of Gold,. lots of Creamy gold, in the middle of the night. Peaceful is not equality bound. What is redemption for the intellect of the Oslo accord? I personally am not redeemed.
I'm sorry that I sounded meaner than I felt. The peaceful non-violent society is upon us. The statistics bear it out. Some people are just perfect computers for the feeling. I can be; I can be. :2thumbsup:
There is this move as Cheech Marin and Julia Robert's Brother both Hippies living and smoking a lot of dope down in Mexico decide to come back to the U.S. and they accidentally start a war!!! LOL!!! Just to be clear...War...is idiotic...and my JOB is to attempt one last chance at creating peace...but some times this is not possible. There are people out there who do not believe that all life is important. It saddens me and my Team because compared to such Groups we have to meet....they are like the Cub Scouts and we are like SOCOM. Those who lead such groups are cowards and are NEVER close to such meet and greets but my Team and I have a RULE. If something goes wrong...and if these cowards who are many miles away convince these Muslim KIDS to die and become a Martyr....sometimes we can talk those kids out of it....and when we do.....WE STOP AT NOTHING TO GO AFTER THE COWARD LEADERSHIP 20 KLICKS AWAY!!! TooReal
Agreed. And like I promised....bump because my logistics questions and also now my philosophical-historical questions are not answered by STP. I also want to say in retrospect that there was an older post that STP made that said that it was kind of bad for me and "liberals" to believe that the majority should be Ruling be making the decisions? Umm fine if that's his POINT of view sure, he can believe that but I should point out that he disagrees with THE FOUNDING FATHERS of the USA, actually LOVED direct democracy, and LOVED what Athens Greece did by following the concept of "Majority Rule". I actually think what is breaking this country now is that it's a minority rule, that lacks the ability to combine critical thinking skills with the ability to take perspective, and because of that they deny the country and themselves Wisdom. --- In a democracy majority must always rule, and I don't mean political parties per se I mean that on an issue by issue basis based on how the majority votes fall when issues are discussed and voted upon. And the minority can suck it and make their own continent and their own country if they hate the one their in so much.
Well...actually the Founding Father's were very concerned over having the Majority controlling the Minority thus the United States is not a Democracy but in fact a DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC. The Bill of Rights are an example of protecting the Minority. TooReal
Well true to a point; I believe that they called it in "majority tyranny", but they were discussing that topic in the context of mob rule because they didn't believe the common man had the critical-thinking skills to make a wise rule. I get what you're saying but in our modern times it's a little skewed because a lot of people in the 99% are very very smart and would probably make a wiser rule compared to some of the people in Congress now. What bogs down government is the fear of not getting re-elected to do what you want in one's political career + money and power ego trips of having the job. If noble people lived in the present and focused on making good policy and law and rule in the present rather than worrying what is gonna happen tomorrow, we'd be out of gridlock by now.
