Some water companies and electric companies, are Government run monopolies.

School scholarships, medicade, USPS and, everything else the Government touches is proof that when the Government gets involved; Prices go up, qaulity of care goes down, and, the distribution is eliminated.

This means banks can use 10x as much money as they actually have; and this is not due to a true free market, but rather, Government control of the economy. 1. Population booms and economic growth without a system of credit.

2. Food production

3. Mass disease outbreaks like the bubonic plague that happened to our species.

4. If we go back to bartering or back to a gold/silver system what's the pros and cons behind doing so? How would you deal with piracy?

5. How would you deal with legalizing all current illegal drugs causing people to do crazy shit when they're on a trip? What about the property damage and potential lives lost at the hands of an addict who doesn't have a cent to their name because they spent their life chasing a drug high? Who reimburses those they hurt?

You aren't gonna lock them up, because drug offenses are 100% decriminalized.

Here's where we disagree, you say credit is the problem because you cite fractional reserve banking, which is basically credit and is the premise behind why we have FDIC insurance for citizens.

The problem with fractional reserve banking, is not the concept itself, it's how much the private banks are taking in risk vs how much assets they are holding onto.


The culture of treating other people's $ foolishly is F'd up, and banks shot themselves in the foot.

They were private entities that failed and begged The Federal Reserve and government for help, and there was a strong chance we could've said No.

But the consequences of that would effect whomever had loans or mortgages with the banks that could collapse, regardless if those people were good personally with their finances or not.

Citizens would've lost their homes, and jobs from the economy contracting so hard.
