A heads up...

Skip as per the rules I have removed my sig link. I have no problem doing that. It's the rules.

I do have a question though. As far as the crafts/fashion forum goes, are we allowed to still post items we make that we have for sale? I know a lot of mama's and papa's post new items they make almost on a daily basis. Is that still okay?

For instance if I make a new hat that has been added to my Etsy store, can I say " This new hat is up in my store " and can I post a link in the actual post to my store?

i think a vendor forum is a great idea... but would you be opening yourself up more to spam by doing that? i do think it's great in theory and could be awesome, but i think it could be a bad thing if abused.

but i guess that's the whole problem. how would you differentiate between the good and the bad?

 

i really like the idea of a vendor forum. keep all the spam contained in one place!

 

Maybe it could have a "minimum post" limit like the politics forum...so those 1 post people can't just come in to spam.

 

On the subject of outside links....My Ticker has "ticker.com" by it. I'm only asking because i'm not to sure on how hard you are pushing this issue. I don't mind removing it if you would like me too. Just wanted to see if it was okay before I did and didn't really need to.
