Sally Go 'Round the Roses - The Jaynetts The Original (complete with clicks and pops from a much used record) (for those of tender age, a "record" was what we called vinyl discs with groooves on them that were played on a "turntable", something of a rotating disc itself, with adjustable speeds. The music was imprinted on the grooves in the record, and extracted with a "needle", made of a crystalline substance, through which the physical impulses were transformed into electrical impulses, which electrical impulses were then amplified electronically through an "amplifier" and finally enjoyed after the amplified electrical impulses were routed through wires to "speakers", which translated the electrical impulses into physical vibrations, affecting the surrounding air. These "airwaves" then reached the listener's eardrums, which then carried the impulses to the brain, giving the listener the impression of a "groovy sound"): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2pypVmBOhY Here's a redone version, same group, but without the organ, and in stereo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKoakleI5So Others covered this song, some badly (Donna Summer comes to mind) Here's an interesting version with Tim Buckley, losing the original feel, but with an added, bluesy element: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bs6kHNzE2Co
