Why? What's the difference? We know then what it became, no reason why we can't do it again today.

This eerily reminds me of class photos. You were forced to be there, not everyone gets on well, some people you hate and they hate you... not good environment...
But this is like an updated version of a class pic! Harmony, yet freedom.

I respectfully suggest that had you been born 50 years earlier that you wouldn't be so happy with the era.

UuI respectfully submit that had you c
Been involved in the scene in 1970 - you would have been aware of crap going on - but the life these kids live today is so short of the love and freedomwe knew to make that error seem like nirvana.

It's just different now and then. Some of the fests now are further in scene and in music than 60s fests. There is an amazing variety and availability of psychedelic drugs now and the marijuana then vs. now, well, you know! But I don't perceive or hear anyone talking about the magic of these days as we talked and were in awe of (the magic) in the 60s. It was all new! As Grace sang, "I'm doing things that haven't got a name yet!" I think the 60s/LSD/so on and so forth will be studied in centuries to come. And right Now is a fabulous time to be alive!

I surely hope now is a time a fabulous time to be alive. I am a child of the 60's and I am blinded to that potential. My fabulous time was unfettered love, drugs for the purpose of mind expansion, activism to stop man killing man. To stop white from subjugating black - to end the war. To make love the standard and peace now the mantra. I pray that that is alive today. "Leary" Turn on, tune in, drop out.

Bless you young trooper - the truth is still clear for those who whose eyes are open.
