Friend used to ask how much snow is in my yard. I could never give an answer. Against my house it's 2 feet and near my car it's 2 inches.

 

My beer store was smashed yesterday by a out of control car..

Not much work today, got to come home.. Snow dont effect the trains as much as trucking. My job revolves around both but more trucking and containers shipments. Snowy roads will effect that..

 

i owned a 40 foot container once

it was kind of nice half was insulated and finished office space with windows and the back was 20 feet of storage

got almost 5k for it when it sold

I have a half acre container. Too bad I can't move it to nj .

 

they had to set up a decontamination area at the hospital because that chemical spill....I don't remember the name of the stuff but it had ''acid'' at the end of it...it warmed up so now its just slippery as all heck out there and kinda treacherous

 

20 feet wasnt enough.

i replaced the office with a 20-something 5th wheel camper and the storage with a 48 foot transport trailer

camper didnt handle this winter good though..roof is looking awful and ill probably be tearing it apart

 

I've read that shipping containers are one of the biggest problems for boats and ships in the ocean because quite an enormous amount are actually lost at sea and they don't sink, but just float beneath the water surface and can destroy yachts and boats if hit etc.

Pretty sure when the seatbelt lights come on in the aeroplane and the pilot says "we'll be running into some turbulance shortly" they've already predicted it.

in regards to containers. they are not fully water proof, and take time to fill with water in the sea.. So they would float just below the water line..
Other containers are like tankers but built for container shipping.. 100% buoyant making them salvageable fishing them out.. I dont deal with anything going over the ocean. But do communicate with Dutch, Swiss, German, Denmark companies daily..
