I've looked up this decarboxylated marijuana. The way I read it and understand it, it applies to weed that is freshly picked, and is not dry. When you get weed that is dry and has already been "cured", to me this does not apply. The several places I read concerning this...that is how it was worded - when the "marijuana is cured".

When I get my weed it is already "cured". Cooking it further only serves to burn it up. In fact, I did try this (and knew it was stupid when I tried it but I did it anyway) on my already cured weed. I put a small amount in the oven for a little over an hour at 150degrees. Good God...I'm surely glad I didn't put a lot in there because what came out of the oven was little teeny pieces of weed that were drier than kindling and crumbled at a touch. It was just before turning dark brown...and when using that burned up weed in edibles, I can promise you it did nothing...and I most certainly do get high from my edibles.

I think this decarboxylating should only be used on fresh Not Cured weed, and I can understand that.

Chase really should have won that race... had that pit crew had done their jobs properly. Came into pits on the last stop 2nd, came out 5th, leader Kevin Harvick penalized means Chase would have been 1st with the next best car of the day...

Other than that pretty snooze fest of a race. Fun watching them sideways all race but nothing really considerable happened, I don't even remember any wrecks.

regular bud./ MIDs isnt decarboxlized fully. what happened when you put the bud in the oven was too long... and too high.

to decarb already cured weed it dont need much heat. but needs be seared in butter. this will break out the thc-a and convert to THC 100% for edible activation..

    I am a sick fuck

my funace guy told me I should not be wishig this furnace breaks down so landlord needs to buy a new one....he told me the new models suck compared to my old beast....I wont be happy..he says.

he said its good until one particular threaded piece where the oil line is attached snaps because it is the one part that cannot be replaced.....he says mine is going but has a couple years yet

zero snow o my property...the deep ditches still have some but you have to search :)

way way too long....small amount...like a gram or maybe upto 7 grams-ish will decarb much faster than large amounts

    like in minutes

the info is changing all the time...just last year they were saying 180-200 max for temps....now because of research they say it is up 246.5f and for some of the terpines they go all the way up to 450....the high temps are for medical needs and should be avoided

    that is very interesting!

I've never come across that info. I'll be sure and work with this. lol ...for an experiment - if I can tell the difference between what I always do, and what decarboxylized weed does.

I used some cook spray with soy lecithin in it tonight/this evening with my crackers. and WOW :hurray: I can tell a difference. I try it with the son. I'm not holding my breath though. lol

He's gotten pretty cooperative with this experiment of mine.

He has NO TOLERANCE. none!. and yet he isn't feeling what I'm certain I would feel, if not be blitzed...but then I have quite a tolerance.

I may give up on his liver. lol

I want to try dosing it with soy lecithin.

    :)

crock pot low heat butter sits for a few hours .. but you can do it on a stove top a little faster..u grind your weed up, if you choose to consume bud material .. placing bud on peanut butter wont get fully released .. if you want to use peanut butter. bring it to melting point in a pot inside a pot of boiling water. or a slow cooker the peanut butter. wont lose its consistency after it cools, put it in fridge. grind cannabis up and mix with the peanut butter and heat ..

this machine allow you to make butter or other infused . comes with filters, so you can squeeze out you goodness. but you can buy the mesh stuff somewhere. I think its silicone ..
    https://magicalbutter.com/

    one my easiest..
grind weed up .. bring cup of almond milk to a boil, toss in the weed in. strain with tea strainer.. drink. :D

We now have freezing rain here. I hate driving in that more than anything else.

Tomorrow it is suppose to be mild so it should solve the ice.

    I want spring!

my friend has the budder machine...he loves it

...it spins the weed while its cooking....those screen bags are exactly the same as my hash bags but smaller....

my next thing is to get a small press from the surplus place and make the rosin extract....bho free :)

I was just looking at a press you would buy if you were manufacturing....7 grand for the desk top size....all it is...a heated roller press with digital read out....my buddy just torches the steel plates until they reach 200 and then he squishes it....works wonderful....his press is a small 20 ton.....i'd like a 50 ton :)

lynn and anyone who cares...rosin....they wrap weed up in a parchment sleeve or a special screened sleeve and then they squish the living shit literally out of the weed on a heated heavy duty press.....with enough pressure the oils are eleased from the weed and squeeze out the sleeves

it is pure nectar and very tasty

I make my butter in a small crock pot.

When I've jarred it up, I wipe the inside of the pot with a piece of loaf bread to clean it out.

    Yum!

Reading that NASA is considering building a magnetic shield to help produce an atmosphere on Mars.
Lol. Don't help out our own planet or anything. :D

Pretty much sums up why I don't have time for science or anything in it's association.

How about a shield to cool us down eh? Or would that make too much sense?

Lynn if you check this link and then click on the "buds" that have the "SCLABS" logo they have the test breakdown.
    https://weedmaps.com/dispensaries/420xchange#/menu
you will notice the majority of the percentage of THC is actually THC-a as it hasn't been actually converted into THC yet.
some THC-a does convert to THC during curing, but that happens more with CBD-a converting to CBD. This is the main reason for potency/effect change between cured weed and uncured weed.
The main thing curing does is allows the sugars and starches in the plant to be broken down so they are not as harsh.
You can also "cure" weed by soaking it in cold water and allowing all the water soluble elements leach out.

also bear in mind that not all oils are good for extracting the good stuff out of weed.

    -turns ignition- *collision warning unavailable*

"Excuse me the electronics in my truck aren't working"

"Oh, yes, okay sorry. The person who adjusted the cruise control forgot to sync it, it will have to come back in for another day, sorry for the inconvenience"

"Well it's here now, let's sync it?" :)

"Oh well you see, others are now booked in it will have to be another day"

-.- "k, well I'm not happy at all it yelled at me straight away, how was this overlooked?"

TBH I didn't even hear him out.

"I'll take it, because I want it, but it's coming in to be synced properly".
