There's absolutely nothing to indicate that. In fact, everything indicates that the PS3 is a failure as a game console. The only reason I would buy a PS3 is because it's cheaper than a normal Blueray player.

I hate Microsoft. The PS3 with blue ray and a higher potential is an overall better and more powerful system IMO.

Topic Creator: You do know that Microsoft fixes RRoD for free right? They even throw in a free month of XBOX Live. So what about this thing with Rockstar. Can you tell what system GTA was on first? Yeah it wasn't XBOX. But Microsoft didn't have to wait too long to get GTA on their system, but now that there is a reversal to the way it actually was, XBOX is owned? I don't see your logic. Correct. Check out the polls on Gamer sites. Most people either own a XBOX 360 or Wii. When it comes down to owning two systems. Most people own a 360 and a Wii. The only way you will find polls not showing this is to go to Sony's site and start a poll about which console do you own.
NECROPOSTING Final Fantasy isn't too big of a game in the US (seriously, it isn't) and there is much to believe that the fans of Final Fantasy have already bought a PS3 or will still buy one because Final Fantasy Versus is still PS3 exclusive. I couldn't give two fucks about FF. Sony has awesome exclusives already, and they are more attractive to me than anything Microsoft offers.
Final Fantasy is a waste of time and money in my opinion. I thouroghly enjoy Halo and Halo 3 (not so much Halo 2, but not everyone is perfect). Whatever your preference is, stick with it, but you don't have to go bitching about what system is better. PS3 can launch a missle, 360 has Halo 3, Wii is for little kids, that basically says it all . The Mushroom Man

Yeah, folks, sorry but 360 wins this round. Better games, more games, better gameplay, less glitches, more online content, more exclusives, more third party support, more people playing, more fun. I loved my PS2 and thought it was much better than Xbox, but the 360 is far better than PS3. What is PS3's biggest exclusive? Metal Gear? Yes, enjoy half an hour of loading/installing from inserting the disc until you actually play. Enjoy hours-long cutscenes appearing regularly. Enjoy being bogged down with several thousand pieces of equipment you will NEVER use. Enjoy your super-secret-mega-agent character being unable to swing his gun around and shoot an approaching enemy in anything less than 30 seconds. Enjoy your hopelessly broken online multiplayer. Pfft.
PlayStation is doing better in console wars, i think that it will beat the wii because wii is definitely committed to the casual gamer no matter what people say, but 360 is still running strong, if not stronger and there is no evidence yet that PS3 will beat it by the time the next gen. comes around
Dude, I hate to say it, but the Wii is kicking everyones ass as far as sales go. It is a powerhouse because it is geared at little kids, whos parents are so up their own ass about being their kids' friend and trying not to pump them full of ritalin that they will get their little kiddies EVERYTHING and ANYTHING they want, including a game system with games centered around moms cooking macaroni and cheese from a box. The 360 and PS3, while definitely superior to the Wii, are geared towards 13+ age groups, where parents are much less liekly to buy a $400 system so their kids can become obese and "violent" (because that is wwhat people believe will happen if you play video games).
