dude i went through a 30 Seconds to Mars phase for quite awhile. I used to be obssessed with their entire self titled album. Especially "Oblivion," "Buddah for Mary," an "Edge of the Earth." I am listening to em now because of this thread (thank you ). I never stopped liking them, I think I had burned myself out for awhile...but yeah their whole self titled album really speaks to me...I suggest you all listen to it...and really listen to it!

I went to youtube and watched the video. Worst video ever. I'm not to fond of the song either. Not my taste.

side note ... everytime I go to youtube now they have suggested videos and they're all of andrew bird. I could kiss them for that.

 

their self titled album is my favorite of their stuff. it's very metaphysical. i like that a lot. i've been in a more mellow mood of late though, so it's been a while since i've listened.

i'm listening to sarah mclaughlan now.

 

I was intrigued by the idea of jared leto having a band and then I heard their big hit and I wanted to pick up my radio, grind it up and feed it to small children. I agree with waking life, the video is bad too. I still respect jared for his acting in that John Lennon murder movie.
