3 things you did today...

It all sounds totally complex to my Theraflu addled mind. Wish I had your talent and skill. TipsyGypsy is also a way gifted photographer. I wonder where she's been lately? Hope she's okay. She seems like a really cool person.

1. Staying in bed.

2. Drinking lots of juice and water.

3. Reading a bio about Patrick Swayze.

1. Biked 8 miles to Target to get a 3-disc DVD of Twilight: New Moon

2. Saw a grey haired, 50 something man in supermarket with really nice build. Went home and did my upper body exercises I was going to blow off.

3. Getting supper and getting ready to curl up and watch Twilight all evening.

 

Aww honey, you're sweet I am still around, just been a little distracted so not posting too much - but I am back!

1. Woke up feeling very hungover.
2. Lay about watching Chuck all morning.
3. Have decided the only way to feel better is to have more scotch
4. Thought about going out tonight and decided to do so.
5. Realised I am with the best person I could possibly be with, even if others don't agree.

 

Sounds a lot like what I've been up to lately. Except I've never seen TWILIGHT. Is it good? Ebert seems to be highly critical of "modern" vampire flicks. But I remain curious as hell.

1. Finally cleaned my bathroom.

2. Watched a really cool DVD: DELIRIOUS. Michael Pitt is the star - and it's all about how a homeless kid becomes a celebrity (in just a few weeks!). Only in Hollywood. But it had its moments. I'd give it 3 stars.

3. Reading Courtney Love's Diary. Never cared for her music, but always liked her as an actress. Wish she'd made more flicks. Plus I'm a big Nirvana fan - so it's interesting to read about her life with Kurt. Plus she used to live in my town.

Perhaps Ebert, like most critics of these movies is not a teen girl. Not saying I am, but somehow I still have the ability to see thru teen eyes, to succumb to the emotional rushes, even tho I know my emotions are being manipulated by the story teller.

Also Ebert doesn't seem to get it. Twilight is not a vampire flick. It is a conflicted teen love story with vampires and werewolves in it.

My 3 things so far:

1. Got up, pissed, having coffee

2. Went online (obviously - I'm here) answered e-mails.

3. The rain is stopping - gonna get a paper and check the movies to see if anything is worth biking to the Cinema.

BTW QP, Liked the comment about cleaning your apt. I don't think I ever mentioned that, cause ppl will find out I only clean it once a month or so, when it finally gets to me. I hate housework. Actually quite proud that I have been letting my bed go unmade on weekends - who cares?

 

I despise housework! So you're not alone. At least we are not as naughty as Quentin Crisp: He lived in the same room for 18 years, and never cleaned it once! I'm not making this up. He always claimed the dust doesn't get any worse - after the first 4 years.

Damn! I missed my 3 things yesterday, which were really good because it was a perfect sunshiny day for the beach. (That after Friday which rained all day and I didn't do anything except watch videos all day & evening)

So, YESTERDAY I:

1. Went to the nude beach and stayed about 3 hours, getting a reddish glow all over me.

2. Went to a late matinee at a movie near the beach and saw How to Train Your Dragon. (Yeah, I can enjoy PG movies for kids)

3. Wrote up a movie blurb and sent it around to friends.

I have only seen the trailer for How to train your dragon, but it looks pretty funny.

1. Woke with my partners friend lying on my leg
2. Decided I will stay down south for a while longer, with perhaps some visits to Manchester and Edinburgh.
3. Went for a walk and picked violets which are now on my table.

 

Sounds like a lot of fun - I never see any naked folks in my town: It's too damn wet and chilly.

1. Returned 2 huge sacks of empty Diet Pepsi and water bottles to Safeway. (Bringing in a grand total of four dollars and ten cents.)

2. Bought more water and Diet Pepsi. And a tasty roast beef sandwich.

3. Almost got hit by a car.

1. Went to the library.

2. Finally mailed my wretched 2010 Census info. I was worried about not mailing it sooner: Everyone keeps saying the deadline is April 1st. But if you call that handy little 800 number they so generously provide - a robotic voice will actually tell you there is no deadline. Just fill out and mail the damn thing ASAP!!

3. Found out (thanks to Shale!) Ricky Martin is gay.

2. Felt sad that I can't get home for my cousins wedding because of the stupid snow.
3. Text my friend about going out for dinner tonight, which will probably ruin by vegan plans :sad:

 

I also used to hate the stupid snow (while living in Chicago). But now that I live in the rainy Pacific Northwest - I'm lucky if it snows more than once a year. Now I miss it.

1. Wrote a haiku poem.
2. Watched 3 hours of one of my favorite TV shows from the 1970s: GOOD TIMES.
3. Ate a roast beef sandwich.

1. Went to bed (12:30 AM)
2. Got up to piss (4:00 AM)
3. Crawled back in bed (4:05 AM)

But Wait! There's more:

1. Got up, (8:00 AM) pissed again, had coffee.
2. Ran a mile & half to get today's paper (check movie's)
3. Went (going) to see Clash of the Titans.
