    3. Got stared at by an attractive young woman in the pub but realised I probably had some food stuck to my face

    1) Went to be at around five am. I heard next door neighbour clumping about on the balls of her feet. I then heard the dustmen come along in a blue rubbish truck. The sound of wheelie bins being dragged across uneven paving slabs could be heard all the way down the street. I eventually fell asleep. Before i went to bed, I began writing notes for my new novel. It is called, The Shadow Chronicles. Nothing to do with the shadows, but more to do with my existence in the dark. Where the sun is barely witnessed and the moon is my substitute.

    2) Had an appointment with probation employment service.I have been set up. So in the end I walked out. Went to library. Lots of unemployed people on the internet. Will check out the book of mormon.

    3) On eve of another weekend, for many a time to prepare for another funfilledfest, which might include a ride in a limo, tickets to see The Feeling at the 02, or having sex on the mudflats of Erith. For me, it will be one of deep solitude. I doubt I will be out of bed on what promises to be a sunny weekend. here we go again. The only thing I have to look forward to is Monday. Then the woes start all over again.

Have you thought about volunteer work J0hn? Seems like youve been searching a long time, and i know how that feels. Or are you not allowed to volunteer yet?

Hopefully ill be starting a volunteer position with special needs kiddies after the honeymoon:D Pretty excited. But theres loads you can do, even just cleaning the streets or whatever. Im easygoing, will take whatevers around, so im still looking for more to fill holes in my schedule, which is quite a bit of time when added up:)

Due to the fact I am an ex con, an outlaw and perhaps the Johnny harris of the 21st Century. I can't help but wonder what opportunities lie ahead. In my eternal gloom, I can only look for volunteer work perhaps in gardening, street sweep up etc. I do appreciate being alive, being able to see, walk, talk and breathe. Of course I am glad I have a flat and food to eat. But the endless turbulence, knows no bounds in my life. If you have ever seen the stock markets. you can compare them to mine. All went well and then it crashed.

They start from the assumption that everyone watches TV. Therefore, if you haven't got a TV licence you're a criminal. As it happens I've lived at the same address without owning a TV for the last 10 years, you'd think they'd have figured it out by now.

I've never owned a TV or a license.. but then I'm not currently a homeowner so maybe they think I don't count.

have you thought about getting professional help? i'm not trying to take the piss or anything, but being serious. my father-in-law is an ex-con and i reckon he's done a fair few worse things than you've done as he'd even been in one time for armed robbery when he was younger; but he still managed to get work once he was out.

you do always seem really, really depressed. i know signing on gets you more down. have you ever thought about talking to your GP and maybe seeing a psychiatrist? even if you don't think it might help you, i'd highly doubt that any professional would say you weren't depressed at the least, and your depression could be hindering you from working. i know it might not help the bleak "life sucks now and always will" attitude; but at the very least if you were getting help from doctors for your depression you could switch to Incapacity Benefit instead of just being on JSA and this might alleviate some of your stresses, i.e. you'd get a bit more money each week and wouldn't have to sign on all the time, be expected to search for work, etc when really you dont' have the energy to get out of bed cos you are so depressed.

and hopefully in the process you might find someone to really help you out.

i hope you aren't offended, just i know what it's like to feel that down, and a lot of people don't want to admit there actually is something wrong with them. instead they feel like they are the problem just because they feel like they do; and that's not the case.

You obviously have a talent for writing. I'm sure everyone will agree that you have a distinctive voice and your contributions here are always compulsive reading. Why not try submitting pieces to e.g. the Big Issue or the Guardian - they love ex-cons, they once had a regular column by a lifer.

pre: I see a pychiatrist monthly. I would switch to weekly, but then the fares would increase. I go once a month, save the coppers and the pounds take care of themselves:)

    1) Got up at 13:30 after having a vivid dream in a dream about setting fire to a kitchen and then waking up thinking it were a dream, but was still dreaming. I officially woke up, sun was shining through my gracious curtains. I put on my knickers and my trousers, my shirt and jumper, my jacket. Brushed teeth and took my post office cash card.

2)Damn, post office closes at 13:00 on a Saturday and 12:30 at the central post office. Well, I aint to phased out about it. Went out to the library, computers are dead. Went for a walk through Ladywell fields. It now looks nice, what with squirrels being terrorised by dogs, buds appearing on the trees, and a lovely warm sunshine that shines on the green grass. Spring is here. Once thou hear cuckoo, spring is here. As I walked past the athletic track, young men were warming up for a kick about. On the opposite side of the river ravensbourne, I saw kids warming up for their game.

    3) Eventually I came to the library. I waited behind Mr print a thousand sheets. Stood in line for about ten minutes. Booked computer. Read a few books on religion, Islam, Britain, Devon, Crap Towns1 and Dublin. Apparently Dublin still have analogue and their channels include TVG and RTE. I have back ache and am at the end of my tether. Meanwhile, kids are roaming the place as though they were orphans.Typical in Catford. Where eight year olds light up a ciggerette, open a can of stella, yet no adult bats an eyelid.

Additional: Watched Family Guy on my DTR. I loved the British episode where us Brits took over the Clam. I loved that cockney girl called Eliza. She had the Love Factor.
