American High School Gym Gun Fair, couple of years ago a friend of mine, english guy,is walking around the trestle tables, laden with all kinds of Guns for sale.

My friend sees a second hand Black Matt Pump action 12 guage he fancies.
"How much is that shotgun?",friend asks.

    "85 Dollars" Vendor replies.

"I'll take it",Friend replies having checked the gun over ..."and 20 rounds Ammo".

Vendor finds a box of shells, putting the sale together he asks "you got a licence?"

"Oh yeah",my friend replied and having handed over his 85 Dollars walks out with a weapon with out further ado.My friend didnt even show the seller his ID,wasnt asked for it!

I'd say you gota a problem . Get real.

I think you got a problem. Every colonist had a gun in 1776, that is what caused our Revolution! Why are things so different now? I contend that it is no different; There are more guns than Americans- over 313 million, still very, very little crime. If politicians didn't make schools "Gun free" that teacher could've shot Adam Lanza instead of cowering under her desk waiting for "authorities." The mentality of people like you scares me, it seems to me you're advocating being totally reliant on government, and not caring if we have freedom. That's not what America was founded on, We're truly not imperialistic like the UK, (We have no problem with trade,) but Thomas Jefferson warned us about accepting private banks, and I found out English elitiest like JP Morgan, are in control of the federal reserve. Furthermore, this goes directly against our principles, and that's the fact our founders stated Rights do not come from government, but God/being Human. Therefore, government can't take them away otherwise they are the one's being unlawful.

Was the seller a private seller? What state did this happen in? Most don't require a licence to purchase a shotgun. Either way, I see no problem here (if what you say even actually happened).

Yes the weapon was second hand I'm told. Dont know if seller was a registered Dealer or a bloke selling an unwanted posession. State was Florida. I see a big problem here,no background check whatsoever,no way of tracing the weapon or the bloke who bought it. Another illegaly held weapon on your streets, could have then been sold onto fuck knows who.

The fact that you don't see theres a problem Sig IS the problem . Thats why you need guns to defend yourselves ,coz' the USAs Blackmarket in guns is thriving. How is that at all responsible or acceptable ?

'If what you say actually even happend'? Have I ever given you any cause to doubt my honesty. I would not question yours without cause. Such remarks are unworthy of you Mate.

Do you ever leave Boston, or even better, do you ever leave your immediate network of like minded people? My guess is no. I know a bunch of people from Boston who think like me.

    OK,

"I own a gun because I hunt and like to eat deer."

I've been doing that since I was twelve years old and still do it every October. However, I own guns for plenty of other reasons as well; collecting, competition, recreational shooting, and (most important) self-defense.

I too, like to hunt, and I have killed far more game and vermin than people with a gun in my lifetime.

As noted previously, I have been threatened with a a knife, a non-weapon?, on a couple of occasions which I was able to avert simply by displaying a gun. Guns, in my opinion are dual purposed, they can be employed in committing crimes, but they can also be employed in preventing crimes. Is there any large society which contains zero criminal elements?

I don't hunt. The Second Amendment, doesn't say anything about hunting.

I keep guns to protect myself from tyranny in Government.

Well, I strongly believe those in power will commit genocide when people rise up; it also seems like Americans are doing that, with or without me, so it's good to be prepared. I'm not gonna be the one defenseless against government thugs, and I feel bad for anyone who hasn't got a gun.

I used to be like some Liberals here, "oh, I've walked in on a robbery, never needed a gun." The truth is, although you may not need a gun on a day to day basis, we live in a dangerous world, and Americans and people in the UK, should understand that danger, and have proper defense. Cause I'm not gonna become a government prisoner because they don't like what I say/do constitutionally and lawfully, and no one else should either!
