Alright. It is officially settled. When the money is right in my life (haha), I will "graduate" to 2C-E!! Of course, a report will follow like the one I did for 2C-I this past Friday.
Yah you will see that you put an overemphasis on the neurological aspects, They are fairly different experiences. For me, 2ce is definitely a more entheogenic geared trip as where 2ci is more recreational and functional.
I've found that 2ce requires a different type of music. In my experience, dark and/or chaotic sounding music is better suited for 2ce's headspace than the happy-go-lucky shit most people listen to on psychedelics. I've listened to songs that were AMAZING on 2ce, but they were terrible on other psychedelics, and vice versa.
LSD I can listen to the lightest fluffiest shit I can stand to the darkest psy or drum n bass I can stand, it's not limited.
Mate i listen to some dirty fucking dark techno on all psys, for some reason it just didn't work for me.... though on 2c-t-7 i had 4 decks playing the same two tunes over and over thinking it was amazing sounding and funny as fuck. even when me and my mate when to make tea we had it on his phone just so we could hear it downstairs. when he walked home the next day he listened to it on repeat walking home LOL!! this was after we slept and we were still obsessed with this techno tune.

With 2C-I, I start with light music but always feel the need to explore the more avant-garde territory eventually. It draws me to it every time.
lol That wouldn't sound good on anything. Try something like this next time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZJ8bHiuDiU"]YouTube - 原å*ç—… (Genshibyou) Music Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyS-8C0vdzI"]YouTube - Lost Souls - Disc 1 - 13. Homie - Tortured Mind
When I was on 2C-E I listened to the new album The Discovery by the band Born of Osiris, a really intense technical/progressive metal band. It was ridiculous. The music was so complex and chaotic, I actually forgot that it was even music, and it became a sort of sonic blueprint for a massive rocketship that was being built in my brain, in order to launch me into a higher cognitive realm. I know that doesn't make any sense, but it's the only way I can describe it, haha.
I didn't think you'd like it... and i was saying that sounded amazing on 2C-T-7. I listened to all sorts on 2C-E and the drug just made it sound distorted and boring.
Well, I didn't mean LITERALLY "legal LSD", I meant that it's supposedly the closest legal substitute. Of course, nothing is EXACTLY like LSD. And I DEFINITELY wasn't referring to a term used by, say, a vendor, as that is definitely an alarm to stay away.
That's like saying a skateboard is a substitute for a BMX bike. Different shit. If you want LSD, get LSD, if you want 2C-E, get 2C-E.
I became enlightened on LSD and made huge and long-lasting changes in my life based on what I learned on it. I like 2C-E quite a bit - I feel something like a connection to it - but I don't see making radical changes behind it. LSD and 2C-E can both be very psychedelic. To me, LSD is deeper, more profound than 2C-E.
for me, 2ce makes pretty much any music sound great. on all psychedelics, i like music that i like sober. but on 2ce i've listened to some happy, "girly" type music and it sounds amazing. i get great music enhancement on LSD too, and is more conducive to dancing around a little. basically i fucking love music and can almost "trip" on it with a little cannabis. the other day i had my headphones on as i was riding my bike. it was a song i'm VERY familiar with, so i was singing along with my 'inside the head' voice. i felt my earbuds in my ears. i thought, "i should turn my music on...wait IT IS ON!" i knew the song so good that i thought i was creating the whole thing in my mind. a skateboard and a BMX bike are still more similar to each other than either is to a hot air balloon or a submarine, even though all 4 are forms of transportation. so even though i agree on your basic principle, LSD is LSD, and 2ce is 2CE, not 'legal LSD.' but IME / IMO 2ce is KIND OF, A BIT like LSD. so is 2cb. that one might actually be more like LSD, but still the drastic difference in thought patterns. but 2cb is more fluid and rolling like LSD... i dunno, i think these two 2cxs (the only ones i've tried) are much more similar to LSD than either is to mushrooms, and i actually rank them like so 1 LSD 2 2cb 3 2ce 4 mushrooms so, it's not LSD, there are major differences, but there are similarities, going beyond the fact that they are both psychedelics LSD has certainly been deeper and more profound for me, but i have had life changing realizations from tripping on 2ce. 2ce is a deep, profound psychedelic in my opinion. 2cb is less deep but equally if not more beautiful. LSD is king
Oh, same here. Music takes on a sort of three-dimensional quality when I'm stoned. I don't understand how people can know how much music is enhanced by cannabis and NOT consider cannabis to be psychedelic.
LSD is much cleaner, more complete, more wide spectrum, more spiritual, more likely to make real changes in you. 2c-e is like a subset of the LSD experience. In fact most phens I've tried are a subset of the more complete archetypal LSD experience. So it's only a fraction, a part, of the LSD trip, but it can still be an AMAZING part of it. For example I am a gigantic fan of 2c-b, but 2c-b is still, at best, diet-LSD. In some sense. Pork I really like your analogies of apples/oranges being more similar than watermelons etc. That is quite apt. Basically don't expect to learn anything about LSD by doing 2c-e, nor vice versa. They may share some common traits but they are still radically different molecules with very different trips.
