Hey. I'm fine, thanks for asking. Posting by phone right now and it's a pain. Probably won't be doing much of it. I see a lot of speculation about why I stopped posting. Let me say that I remembered why I live in the boonies, away from people, with two dogs.
Hey J.C., looked into GPAA, they have some claims in E.Tn. will be joining soon and checking out Coker Creek,Tn., thanks for the tip. Hope to come out west after I get some idea of what I'm doing.:2thumbsup:
You've been in a van for over 20 yrs and your bummed that you have to use a slow Internet system- - -?- - -You are 1 of a kind my friend * * * Glad all is well * * jjack
Mostly non-existant internet connection. The browser in this phone apparently can't handle this site. It keeps freezing. Thanks all, for the kind words. Logan5...those weeds were at the shop, not at camp. I only camp in lavender and lilac fields, which are so plentiful here in the high desert of Arizona.
He has a lap top. It's the Internet service that is the problem. Those AZ Desert Shrub don't seem to have good reception in the boonies!
Glad to see you back! I finally picked up a van of my own. It took me a while to take out the shelves and pressure wash all the grease out of it. Now I'm working on putting an interior in it.
Ever heard of those jump-start portable units that are basically a car battery and two built in cables? Got them in all garages - charge it up every 3 to 6 months and you'll always have it there. Your life sounds cool.
I lived in my 1992 Dodge Grand Caravan 'Sylvester' for two years. Coincidentally, with my two dogs. I had to stop because I got pregnant and my van probably wasn't the best place for child rearing.. I still have one of my dogs (the other past of old age). Whenever he runs off to pee on everyone's bushes I just open my car door and he stops, comes back, and hops into the car. Of course, then I have to get him out of the car and back into the house.. But, I just drive him around and he rides shot gun watching all the cars go by. He misses the life as much as I do.
