I just want to say,I am taking the time to read this entire thread and I am enjoying every second of it.

My Boy friend and I plan to high tail it off the grid in January.
every day we do more research on the lifestyle,everyday we dream our dreams of leaving this economic slavery! Every day we feel more and more its what we are meant to do.

I know we have a lot in store for us with this new way of life,so much adventure and SO many lessons. Thank you for your inspiration.

Your posts brought so much hope to us slaves of the system that dreamed of true freedom. You're long-gone by now, but thank you anyway. What you've given us is invaluable. Prayers and protection for you and your furry companions. I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for this thread.

 

Finally got my van running GREAT, I feel it's finally road worthy and that feels GOOD

 

I feel like I've been kicked in the gut. Thanks for sharing so many of your experiences and knowledge. It seems unfair that something negative has happened to you. I hope you come back stronger as a result of it. We'll miss you.

i have a 76 dodge van,had it for many years.love the truck but dont think i could live in it.it takes a very organized type person to be comfortable in that small of a space,just think what you could do if you walked in to a say,3 bedroom house with a garage.i lived in a smaller place than that for a few years so i am comfortable in small,thats cool no over head..

Wow...That's amazing!

I've lived out of the back of my ford explorer for 4 months while I was trying to start a business...

Then a few years later had to live out of the van for about a little over a month...

I honestly really don't like it...as I do a lot of online stuff and plus it makes it hard to make money at what I do...It's an experience...but I don't always think it's a good one for everyone...
