LOL your inability to read seems to be showing as well as your ignorance.

I never mentioned Charles Darwin nor did I mention that phrase in my post

But do you know who did coin that phrase – one Herbert Spencer – who I do mention in the post

Sorry mate but every time you try to be clever you fall flat on your face – next time read the post and do the research and you might not come across as so foolish

I beg to differ. He's an expert on being a cult member of our glorious orange toddler. Probably a Q head.

Cases in the UK, France and Canada are spiking again, just a fortnight into fall

The head of Pakistans central bank said this in July:

"We are very concerned. First and foremost, this is a public health crisis – we have to remind ourselves of that,”
Baqir told CNBC. “And, only on a secondary basis, then it becomes an economic crisis. Until the public health crisis is addressed, we should continue to expect challenges on the economic front,” he added. According to Baqir, prolonged national lockdowns are a “luxury of the rich,” while “for countries like Pakistan, the trade-off between lives and livelihood is a very real trade-off.”

Covid-19 lockdowns are a ‘luxury of the rich,’ says Pakistan’s central bank governor

The race will on over the next couple months to see which is the first first world country to make a similar declaration

Supposed lack of Covid response back in February won't be as big an election issue as you think it will be

News flash! Covid-9 is by no means over in the U.S., and memories of Trump's response to it are fresh in our minds, thanks to Bob Woodward's Rage. Public opinion polls, which remain the best measure of voter sentiment, show that 56% of the public disapproves of Trump's handling of the virus, while 39.8% disapproves. One of the tricky things about reopening the economy is that if it's done too fast without proper precautions the virus surges and restrictions have to be reimposed. This has been the story of re-openings in Oklahoma. Currently, the "hot spots" in the state are Tulsa county, location of Tulsa; Oklahoma County, location of Oklahoma City; and Cleveland and Payne Counties, location of the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University, respectively. Social distancing for college students is a task comparable to herding cats.

This one is an interesting read, lack of trust seems to be across the board. Encouraging to see faith in the media plummeting

    • A new CBS News poll reveals that, in terms of sources of coronavirus news that Americans trust, President Trump actually fares slightly better than the national media.
    • The poll, however, shows that trust in many institutions and key figures, including both Trump and the media, has fallen as the coronavirus pandemic has dragged on.
    • Trust in the CDC has fallen especially far, according to the CBS poll.
Guess who Americans trust more on COVID-19 – Trump or the national press?

Lots of luck on that one! BTW, wearing a mask is not for your own protection but for the protection of others, about whom you apparently must not give a damn.

July 20." Trump tweeted an image of himself wearing a face mask and indirectly called the act "patriotic" on Monday -- a clear pivot away from his earlier reluctance to wear a facial covering in public."
"We are United in our effort to defeat the Invisible China Virus, and many people say that it is Patriotic to wear a face mask when you can't socially distance."
The image appears to show Trump wearing a mask with the presidential seal at his visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center earlier this month....
The shift to encouraging mask-wearing was primarily motivated by floundering poll numbers, a source familiar with the President's thinking told CNN." Subsequently, he ridiculed Biden for wearing one, and spoke at rallies in which most of his supporters were not wearing masks." First he says he does, and then he don't. Then he say he will, and then he won't. He's undecided now (50 days before the election) so what're you gonna do?

You all have no idea what percentage of transmissions have anything to wearing or not wearing a face mask anyway

Wearing a mask for a couple weeks back in April to flatten the curve (remember that) is one thing

But if you have been wearing a mask for the last six months, and 90% of transmissions have really been about touching things and not everyone washing their hands 50 times a day; then you have been a total chump for wearing the mask the whole time

He's going to say that he's always worn a face mask -- even before the pandemic, and always encouraged others to do so, also. It's just the lying media that's trying to make him look bad.

    Scientific American Endorses Joe Biden

We’ve never backed a presidential candidate in our 175-year history—until now

Scientific American has never endorsed a presidential candidate in its 175-year history. This year we are compelled to do so. We do not do this lightly.

The evidence and the science show that Donald Trump has badly damaged the U.S. and its people—because he rejects evidence and science. The most devastating example is his dishonest and inept response to the COVID-19 pandemic,
which cost more than 190,000 Americans their lives by the middle of September. He has also attacked environmental protections, medical care, and the researchers and public science agencies that help this country prepare for its greatest
challenges. That is why we urge you to vote for Joe more prosperous and more equitable future.

I had to double check this paragraph appeared exactly that way in the article

Sure enough, thats the way it appears

    Scientific American Endorses Joe Biden

Farkin what? Because he rejects evidence and science (what evidence and science would that be exactly), evidence and science show orange man bad

Sounds like its written by a ten year old

This kind of thing is just deflection for how poorly parts of the scientific community have done over the last 10 months in regards to covid

    Lets recap that shall we:

    - no contingency plans for such an outbreak formulated in the 5 decades before 2020

    -Modelling off by ten fold

    - taking two months to work out when the actual first covid death in the US actually was

-taking 6 months to work out 6ft social distancing was grossly inadequate

    - taking 3 months to work out adequate ventilator protocols

    - taking 6 months to work out aerosol transmission

    - taking 6 months to work out cloth masks are worse than no masks

-still no word on fecal transmission or an explanation for MIS-C

    Etc etc

I’ve been reading scientific American magazine for the past 30 years, and they try to stay away from politics,
but this time it would have been irresponsible for them to do so.

Only trump could facilitate this type of response.

There’s more to life than just sex, and there's more to Scientific American than meets the eye. For instance there was a research study which concluded…………..

Men who were given the chance to ‘design’ their perfect female partner for a long term relationship overwhelmingly chose an attractive face over an attractive body.

Men who designed their partner for a short term fling chose a hot body over an attractive face. - this kind of information is invaluable.
