I'll be honest, had you pegged as an optimist.

 

The DNC is another boogeyman used by folks who can't win elections to explain their difficulties. It functions much like the Illuminati, the Trilateral Commission, the Bilderberg group, the Rothschilds, and the Elders of Zion (who were really behind it all) as a all-purpose explanation of events by people who want to seem "in the know" but don't really know what they're talking about. Until somebody can produce evidence that the DNC , as opposed to Jim Clyburn and African-American voters in South Carolina, was actually and decisively involved in Biden's rise (no doubt the Russians will come up with some at an opportune time), I'll suspend judgment and go with the Scotch verdict: not proven. I see no evidence that the DNC was doing anything before the South Carolina primary to help Biden, and seemed ready to abandon him as road kill. Not that I give a shit about the DNC or the Democrat Party for that matter. Re-election of Trump would be a disaster, and I think Bernie: ("The People's Real Secret Choice, Despite Polls and Elections") is more likely to bring that about than Biden.

 

At least where anything Trump is concerned.

So, every other excuse under the sun except the one about having 3 years in a country of 330 million and you couldnt come up with a single inspiring candidate

 

First, you sound hopeless. Y'all just need to figure out how to change that election process. The 2 parties that benefit from the current changes won't ever strive for that (please correct me if I assume wrong). So seems to me the progressive voters should unite and figure out an approach to change things. If a majority of left wing voters votes on another party then what is now (retardedly) thought of as the only option, then the democrat party has little choice to listen to that. Or the system has to adapt (as you can't ignore a third party that got more votes than the Democrat party). Of course this is hypothetical, but it seems worth the try. I don't see how else you guys break through this current situation (not talking about Trump's presidency, that's merely a symptom/consequence of this political status quo)..

 

I'm not trying to make the Orange Man look bad. He does that naturally. He's been telling people anyone can get tested now, and his medical experts at the CDC are saying "no way". What are we to believe?

It's as simple as that? If the majority of left-wing voters votes on another party, that party is sure to lose, since there aren't enough of them. Problem is, there still seem to be enough people who think Trump is the savior of the country, and another bunch who think we can simply overhaul the system root and branch in the next election cycle with multiple major redistributive programs that "the rich" will pay for with only a whimper. If they persist in those delusions, they'll have to learn the hard way. Apocalypse, here we come!
