I heard a bit on the news a few days ago and posted somewhere that they are going to do human trials for the vaccine they're working on in 2.5 months!! That's too long.

No clue. Citizens are starting to openly complain with how the whole mess has been handled by authorities. If it keeps up I wouldn't be surprised to see a crackdown.

China's National Health Commission reported there were 97 new fatalities from the virus today making Sunday the deadliest day so far.

The new fatalities brought the death toll on the mainland to 908, most of them in Wuhan and the surrounding Hubei province.

A total of 40,171 infections have been confirmed nationwide.

A wise decision since scientists have found that the Coronaviruses can infect Dogs, Cats, Mice, Rats, Horses, Pigs, and Cattle.

 

So it’s begun even here in America

Nearly 200 Georgia residents are quarantined in their homes after returning from recent trips to China, where a deadly new coronavirus has sickened more than 40,000 people.

Georgia authorities were avoiding using the word quarantine, saying instead that people are being isolated in their homes for 14 days, the illness’ incubation period.
However, the term is used in a February 2 directive from the Trump administration that calls for U.S. citizens returning home from visits to the Hubei province to be quarantined
and those returning from other parts to China to undergo “proactive entry screening” and up to 14 days of monitoring and self-quarantine

 

Two years ago when I came nz I went via China and I cannot stop thinking how glad I didn't do it that way this time. I'm kind of looking forward to not having any kind of impending flight at all though.
