This makes you sound stupid and you seem to think it means you are woke when you are just looking for an excuse to not say you are "left wing". Protections are very well understood. That is why anti-mask people like your video. It gives them an excuse to associate masks with Democratic censorship.

The Duke University study was released on August 9th... I'm not sure what political affiliations have to do with any of this.

    From Cnn:

Researchers tested 14 commonly available masks including a professionally fitted N95 mask, usually reserved for health care workers. First the test was performed with a speaker talking without wearing a mask.

Neck fleeces, also called gaiter masks and often used by runners, were the least effective. In fact, wearing a fleece mask resulted in a higher number of respiratory droplets because the material seemed to break down larger droplets into smaller particles that are more easily carried away with air.
Folded bandanas and knitted masks also performed poorly and did not offer much protection.
"We were extremely surprised to find that the number of particles measured with the fleece actually exceeded the number of particles measured without wearing any mask," Fischer said. "We want to emphasize that we really encourage people to wear masks, but we want them to wear masks that actually work."

N95 masks, the clue was in the name the whole time

Get over confident, because you are wearing a mask, go to the mall, pass by a thousand people....it's only a matter of time

Plus with those 95 ones, they never wash the things, no idea if anyone else has been wearing the same one for a week, no idea of course how many times they wash their hands a day, how many times before or after they touch the mask

Your wife, if she does have contact with covid patients, will be wearing gloves, an apron, mask and eye protection...but for you to avoid infection, just a mask will do apparently???

It's irrelevant what anyone's opinion is, it's just about what does and does not spread the virus. If you haven't got it right the whole time, you are just as guilty as anyone for spreading the virus

    You said this:

'Trying to blame me the guy who follows medical advice that is rich."

If the medical advice has been wrong the whole time, then you would have been guilty of helping to spread the virus if you had gotten infected

You pass by 1000 people at their most infectious, shedding 2000 virions per cubic metre. There is 24 cubic metres in a sphere around them with a 6 foot radius. 48 million virions, an N95 doesn't protect you from 2 1/2 Million of those virions

"Findings In this cohort study of 11 210 individuals with COVID-19 presenting for care at 92 hospitals across 12 states, there was no difference in all-cause, in-hospital mortality between White and Black patients after adjusting for age, sex, insurance status, comorbidity, neighborhood deprivation, and site of care."

So much for Sth Koreas awesone response

South Korea tightens Covid-19 curbs amid warning of new 'crisis'

Museums, nightclubs and karaoke bars have closed in and around South Korea's capital, Seoul, as Covid-19 cases reach a five-month high.

Seoul tightens Covid-19 curbs as cases surge

The country reported another 297 new cases on Wednesday - the highest daily figure since March.

South Korea is viewed as one of the world's coronavirus success stories for its management of the disease.

But a spike in new cases linked mostly to a church has sparked concerns of a wider outbreak.

Wednesday saw a three-digit increase in cases for a sixth day after weeks with numbers generally around the 40s. Of the 297 infections reported, 252 were in the greater Seoul area.

Actually I take that back, you can't wear masks in the weed shops and I've been there a couple times.

First time on my own accord then.

Ahead of the curve once again…………

Massachusetts to require flu vaccines all students

Health officials in Massachusetts announced Wednesday that influenza vaccines will become mandatory in the state for the majority of students 6 months and older who attend day care, pre-school,
K-12 schools or higher education institutions.

"It is more important now than ever to get a flu vaccine because flu symptoms are very similar to those of COVID-19 and preventing the flu will save lives and preserve healthcare resources,"
Dr. Larry Madoff, medical director of the Massachusetts Public Health's bureau of infectious disease and laboratory sciences, said in a statement.

Students are expected to receive the vaccine by December 31, with the exemption of those with medical or religious reasons, homeschooled children or higher education students who are
"completely off-campus and engaged in remote learning only," the health department said.

Massachusetts is the first state to require flu shots for children over the age of 5. All 50 states require vaccines for children to attend public schools, but according to the Immunization Action Coalition,
none before now have required flu vaccines for children in kindergarten or above.

I don't have time for all this bullshit
As usual once I bother to speak to you it's obvious you either lack the intelligence to understand or purposely act like an idiot

Since you are a conservative I would say it's the latter.

Working in a ER is not the same level of contact and risk.
Why do you think we stand a few meters apart and don't shake hands? She can't do that because people need her help. Real simple stuff man.

    Bullshit

This would violate public health laws. You either wore a mask or went to a dealers house. They literally could not be open if they did not enforce masks.

"Can't"? more like required to for service.

North Koreans 'forced to give up pet dogs for restaurant meat amid food shortages'

The move by leader Kim Jong Un is apparently aimed at appeasing public discontent amid a dire economic situation, a report says

People in North Korea are reportedly being forced to give up their pet dogs so they can be used as dog meat for restaurants.

The move by the leader Kim Jong Un is thought to be aimed at appeasing rising discontent among the public amid a dire economic situation in the secretive country, including food shortages.

Pet dogs are thought to be owned mostly by the elite and wealthy in the capital Pyongyang and are seen by authorities a symbol of capitalist "decadence", while ordinary people have pigs and other livestock

It's not a dealers house. I am in a legal state and don't have a dealer. The budtenders don't even wear masks.

I don't know how much of your incredulity towards my posts I need to dispel to make you stop acting like an unfocusedkaren. I was going to take a pic of the place this weekend and offer you an ultimatum to stop that shit in return but I honestly don't really care to vindicate myself any further and don't have faith that you would even if you said so.

Kids play a larger role in community spread of COVID-19 than previously thought, researchers find

Researchers at Massachusetts General Hospital are warning that children should not be disregarded as potential silent spreaders of the coronavirus.

“These kids had viral loads that were higher, significantly higher, than patients who were hospitalized for COVID,” Dr. Lael Yonker, director of the MGH Cystic Fibrosis Center and lead author of the study, told Boston.com.

While the number of children who tested positive may come as a shock to some, Dr. Roberta DeBiasi, chief of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Children’s National Hospital in Washington D.C., said she's not surprised based on the patients she's seen.

"We know from other respiratory diseases, (children) are known to be vectors in the community," she said. However, she added this study is unique because it went a step further to quantify viral load.
