I know of two. South side and Monroeville.. I don't know about the south location but.
The Monroeville one is in a mall, the line of cars went back and back and back..
I can't believe people would sit in line like that but they do..

"During extreme crises, governments can also seize people’s gold. There have been some stunning examples of “gold confiscation” in the past. Most memorably, this occurred in the US in 1933 during the great depression – albeit it’s more accurate to call it a nationalisation than a confiscation, since citizens were compensated. The government of Franklin D Roosevelt seized all gold bullion and coins via Executive Order 6102, forcing citizens to sell at well below market rates. Immediately after the “confiscation”, the government set a new official rate for gold that was much higher as part of the Gold Reserve Act 1934."

Study estimates 24 states still have uncontrolled coronavirus spread

The coronavirus may still be spreading at epidemic rates in 24 states, particularly in the South and Midwest, according to new research that highlights the risk of a second wave of infections in places that reopen too quickly or without sufficient precautions.

Coronavirus live news and updates from around the world

Does this mean it's getting better, or worse? I'm confused because stuff is opening here. My parents who are 75 sat down at a burger joint not 24 hours ago...

It seems in New York there were on average of 100 deaths a day, or close to 1/4 (22%) of the excess deaths compared to previous years that weren't because of the virus

People staying at home being inactive / too afraid to go to hospitals when they otherwise would have

Since 95% of the remaining 78% of covid/possible Covid deaths had co-morbidity / underlying health condition, that does suggest more "healthy" people died in that time frame than otherwise would have if they had contracted the disease and gone to hospital

"During March 11–May 2, 2020, a total of 32,107 deaths were reported to DOHMH; of these deaths, 24,172 (95% confidence interval = 22,980–25,364) were found to be in excess of the seasonal expected baseline. Included in the 24,172 deaths were 13,831 (57%) laboratory-confirmed COVID-19–associated deaths and 5,048 (21%) probable COVID-19–associated deaths, leaving 5,293 (22%) excess deaths that were not identified as either laboratory-confirmed or probable COVID-19–associated deaths (Figure).

The 5,293 excess deaths not identified as confirmed or probable COVID-19–associated deaths might have been directly or indirectly attributable to the pandemic. The percentages of these excess deaths that occurred in persons infected with SARS-CoV-2 or resulted from indirect impacts of the pandemic are unknown and require further investigation."

Yeah I find it a bit annoying. The people who call it that probably use lots of other words I find a bit annoying. But it is a bit weird when things like that are "annoying". What does it mean, why.
