Did everyone (in the US) get their President Trump's guide to the coronavirus flyer in the mail today?

  7. It's not a problem. They have centuries to work on this. It's not going to happen any time soon.

    ???

3 hours of video taken Sunday March 29th outside Elmhurst hospital NY, the same hospital that lady doctor made a video about lack of resources and being overwhelmed

I'm not denying the number of hospitalized cases, but NY has 214 hospitals

i keep seeing posts like this, and pictures of deserted cities, and i'm really curious where this is happening and why it's so different there. here there's not much traffic after dark, but during the day the streets pretty much look like business as usual. maybe 10% reduction in traffic, if i'm being optimistic.

i've thought about that and i really do think that's part of it. it's a small town with no real entertainment options, so it's not like there's a bunch of out of work museum employees sitting around, and there's certainly no fewer tourists than there were before. i wonder if other small towns are similar.

I'm in a small town ( 13k) . we're only to work if we're needed badly . only one person infected here . the tourists usually pass thru on their way to somewhere else , gas and a meal and they're gone

not too different from my town. i think we're about 14k, and also only supposed to work if essential, although like i was saying before, most everyone fits that definition. we do get some minor tourism in the surrounding areas during the summer, but nothing this time of year.

so anyway, are you seeing empty streets or just a slight reduction of traffic?

Viral lode may be a factor, but I bet exhaustion and stress are also part of why healthcare workers are getting sick
